Veterinary Assisting

If you prefer furry friends to human ones, you may want to consider a career in veterinary assisting. Vet assistants help feed and bathe animals, keep veterinary offices clean and sanitized, and generally assist other veterinary professionals. A vet assistant may work with a wide variety of animals, depending on where they work. Carrington’s Veterinary Assisting program can be completed in as few as nine months.

Electrical Technology

Students in our Electrical Technology program will study and master the basic principles, applications, concepts, and functions of electrical circuitry.

Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning, and Refrigeration (HVAC-R)

An HVAC-R technician ensures heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems function properly. They work in homes, schools, offices, factories, hospitals, and other buildings.

Maintenance Technician

Industrial maintenance is an overarching act of keeping machinery used in a variety of professional settings running. Maintenance technicians are effectively mechanics specializing in large-scale machinery.

Hands-On Training

Carrington College’s Trades Education Center provides hands-on training in a number of skilled trade school programs in Central Arizona. The Carrington College Trades Education Center provides career training for a number of paths.

Modern Facilities

The trade school, located at the Phoenix Campus, shares a 120,000-square-foot space with another accredited institution. Carrington College Phoenix students have access to the student success center, computer labs, a cafeteria and two student lounges.

Dedicated to Creating Skilled Workers

The Trades Education Center can not only help local students prepare for a rewarding career, but it also provides local businesses and employers with skilled labor. Carrington College is proud to be partnered with Lowe’s and their Generation T program, which aims to increase workers in the skilled trades.
