Carrington College’s Fresno, CA, campus provides hands-on Dental Assisting, Medical Assisting, Medical Office Administration, Pharmacy Technology, Radiologic Technology, Surgical Technology, and Veterinary Assisting programs. Facilities include lecture rooms, computer labs, designated program training labs, a dental digital imaging system, simulated pharmacy equipment, and an on-site veterinary X-ray lab and animal surgery center.
Located at 295 East Sierra Avenue in the heart of the San Joaquin Valley, the Carrington College Fresno campus serves communities between Madera and Visalia.

Healthcare Programs Available at Carrington College’s Fresno Campus
Radiologic Technology
Carrington College’s Radiologic Technology program helps students build the knowledge and technical skills to capture medical images that support patient care. This program combines classroom learning with hands-on training to help you develop the competencies recommended for radiologic practice. Earn your associate degree in as few as 23 months.
Medical Office Administration
Carrington College’s Medical Office Administration program prepares you for front-office roles in medical practices, healthcare facilities, or insurance companies. Through hands-on experiences, you’ll gain essential skills in medical billing, coding, patient recordkeeping, and office management. Earn your certificate in as few as 9 months.
Pharmacy Technology
Our Pharmacy Technology program is an option for those who want to interact with the public in a healthcare capacity but may not want to perform clinical tasks. Pharmacy technicians help pharmacists deliver medications to the public and work in retail pharmacies like Walgreens or in-house pharmacies at medical facilities, among other work settings. Earn your Certificate of Achievement in as few as 9 months.
Medical Assisting
Medical assistants are a vital part of any healthcare office, completing administrative and clinical tasks in physicians’ offices, hospitals, and other healthcare facilities. A medical assistant may take a patient’s vital signs, record a patient’s history and personal information, and schedule appointments. (2)

Surgical Technology

Dental Assisting
Dental assistants help hygienists and dentists with routine procedures like passing instruments and sterilizing equipment, and may work to make patients more comfortable during their visits to a dental office. (1) Carrington College’s Dental Assisting program includes classes on anatomy, physiology, and radiography, dental sealants and procedures, as well as front office duties and patient care. Room to Learn, Study, and Recharge
Carrington College’s two-floor Fresno campus provides over 34,000 square feet of space where students can learn, study, and take breaks. Multiple lecture rooms are strategically positioned throughout the building to support large-group instruction and computer lab activities for each program offered on campus. Students have access to a convenient break area and library learning center, as well as a Career & Student Services center that provides ongoing support throughout their education and offers helpful employment resources for students entering the workforce.
Equipment for Hands-On Practice
Each program is fully equipped with the essential tools and supplies to support an interactive, engaging learning experience. Medical Assisting students have access to equipment like an Autoclave, EKG Machine, and Injection Arm Trainer. Dental Assisting students practice taking X-rays using a digital imaging system, and Pharmacy Technology students work with the necessary equipment to simulate reviewing and filling prescriptions, including computers, registers, sinks, and shelves stocked with empty prescription bottles. The Veterinary Assistant students benefit from an on-site X-ray lab and animal surgery center in their training room.

Medical, dental, pharmacy, and veterinary programs each have dedicated lab spaces that approximate work settings in their fields. Medical Office Administration students benefit from their own dedicated lecture space.
