Carrington College’s Victor Valley (Hesperia) campus offers a range of career-focused healthcare programs, such as Medical Assisting, Medical Office Administration, Pharmacy Technology, and Dental Assisting. The approximately 15,000-square-foot, two-story campus is conveniently located at 9331 Mariposa Road in the High Desert community of Victor Valley. We serve students from Hesperia and surrounding communities, including Adelanto, Victorville, Oak Hills, and Apple Valley.

Medical Office Administration
Carrington College’s Medical Office Administration program prepares you for front-office roles in medical practices, healthcare facilities, or insurance companies. Through hands-on experiences, you’ll gain essential skills in medical billing, coding, patient recordkeeping, and office management. Earn your Certificate of Achievement in as few as 9 months.
Pharmacy Technology
Carrington College’s Pharmacy Technology program provides a comprehensive education for those who want to work as a pharmacy technician. Pharmacy technicians help pharmacists measure, package, and label prescriptions while interacting with the public, answering questions, collecting information, and accepting payment. (1) A pharmacy technician may work in a retail pharmacy like Walgreens or in an in-house pharmacy at medical facilities, among other work settings. Complete your Pharmacy Technology training in as few as 9 months.
Medical Assisting
Medical assistants are a vital part of any healthcare office, completing administrative and clinical tasks in physicians’ offices, hospitals, and other healthcare facilities. A medical assistant may take a patient’s vital signs, record a patient’s history and personal information, schedule appointments, or administer injections under a physician’s direction. (3)
Carrington College’s Medical Assisting program offers students access to an autoclave, EKG machine, and injection arm trainer, while providing hands-on opportunities to learn important clinical and administrative skills. Students can earn a Certificate of Achievement in as few as 9 months.
Dental Programs Available at Carrington College’s Victor Valley (Hesperia) Campus
Dental Assisting
Dental assistants help hygienists and dentists with routine procedures like passing instruments and sterilizing equipment, and they may work to make patients more comfortable during their visits. (2) Carrington College’s Dental Assisting program includes classes in anatomy, physiology, and radiography; dental sealants and procedures; and front office duties and patient care. Students can earn a Certificate of Achievement in as few as 9 months.

At approximately 15,000 square feet, the two-story Hesperia campus provides plenty of space for lecture halls, a computer lab, dedicated skills labs, and program-specific learning spaces, as well as administrative support, our Career & Student Services departments, and a student lounge.
Dedicated Skills Labs and Learning Spaces
Medical Assisting, Dental Assisting, and Pharmacy Technology students have access to dedicated skills labs designed to reflect the real-world environments they may encounter in their fields. Medical Office Administration students have their own dedicated lecture halls.
Equipment for Hands-On Practice
Hands-on work with industry-current equipment helps students develop their skill sets. Medical Assisting students at the Carrington College Hesperia campus have access to medical equipment such as an autoclave, EKG machine, and injection arm trainer. Dental Assisting students practice taking X-rays using a digital imaging system, while Pharmacy Technology students use equipment to simulate reviewing and filling prescriptions, including computers, registers, sinks, and shelves stocked with empty prescription bottles.
