The Carrington College Ontario, CA Campus
The Carrington College Ontario campus provides hands-on training in medical, nursing, dental, and veterinary programs, including Pharmacy Technology, Registered Nursing, Registered Nursing – LVN to RN Bridge, Medical Assisting, Respiratory Therapy, Dental Hygiene, and Veterinary Technology. Our approximately 38,000-square-foot campus includes lecture rooms, computer lab spaces, a library learning center, program-specific training labs, and a student break area.
The college serves students in Ontario and communities between San Bernardino and Pomona, including Upland, Montclair, Chino, Rancho Cucamonga, and Claremont.

Healthcare Programs Available at Carrington College’s Ontario Campus
Pharmacy Technology
The Carrington College Pharmacy Technician program is an option for those who want to interact with the public but who may not want to perform clinical tasks. Pharmacy technicians assist pharmacists in delivering medications to the public; measuring, packaging, and labeling prescription medication; entering patient information into databases; accepting payments; and processing insurance claims. (1)
Pharmacy Technician students receive hands-on training, using computers, registers, sinks, shelves, and empty prescription bottles to simulate reviewing, filling, and dispensing prescriptions. Earn your Certificate of Achievement and become eligible to sit for national certification exams in as few as 9 months.*
Registered Nursing
Registered nurses assess patient conditions, provide comfort and patient care, administer medication and treatments, and coordinate closely with doctors and other healthcare professionals. (2)
The Carrington College Registered Nursing program provides hands-on training with supervised clinical hours to prepare students for nursing careers. The program supports preparation for RN licensure upon graduation.* Earn your Associate Degree in Nursing in as few as 23 months.
Registered Nursing – LVN to RN Bridge
Nursing has many educational levels, from certificates to master’s degrees and PhDs. Nurses can always return to school and advance their degrees. Carrington College Nursing Bridge programs are designed for licensed vocational or licensed practical nurses who want to earn an Associate Degree in Nursing. Program length and availability vary by location. Complete the Registered Nursing – LVN to RN Bridge program and earn your Associate Degree in as few as 12 months.
Medical Assisting
Medical assistants are a vital part of any healthcare office, completing administrative and clinical tasks in physicians’ offices, hospitals, and other healthcare facilities. A medical assistant may take a patient’s vital signs, record a patient’s history and personal information, and schedule appointments. (3)
Carrington College’s Medical Assisting program gives students hands-on opportunities to develop the skills for entry-level medical assistant positions, including practice with an autoclave, EKG machine, and injection arm trainer. Earn your Certificate of Achievement in as few as 9 months.
Respiratory Therapy
Respiratory therapists care for patients who have difficulty breathing. They may work with premature infants with underdeveloped lungs, adolescent patients with asthma, or elderly patients dealing with COPD or other conditions affecting the lungs. (4)
Carrington College’s Respiratory Therapy program helps students learn to assess and treat patients with respiratory diagnoses. Students gain hands-on experience working with an adult crisis auscultation mannequin and ventilators. Earn your Associate of Science degree in as few as 18 months.
Dental Programs Available at Carrington College’s Ontario Campus
Dental Hygiene
Dental hygienists provide preventive oral healthcare and patient education. They remove plaque and tartar, polish teeth, and help train patients on good oral health. (5)
Students in the Carrington College Dental Hygiene program gain the skills and knowledge to provide comprehensive dental hygiene care. Instruction helps students develop professional communication skills with patients, colleagues, and the public, as well as knowledge of ethical standards and professional behavior. Earn your Associate of Science degree and prepare for licensure exams in as few as 15 months.*
Veterinary Programs Available at Carrington College’s Ontario Campus
Veterinary Technology
If you enjoy working with animals, consider a career in veterinary technology. Veterinary technicians work with veterinarians and vet assistants to care for animals in both routine and emergency settings. Vet techs may draw blood, check vitals, and administer medications. (6)
Carrington College’s Veterinary Technology program teaches students the hands-on skills to support veterinarians with exams, procedures, surgical support, lab diagnostics, and office administration tasks. Earn an Associate Degree in as few as 19 months.

Spaces to Learn, Study, and Recharge
Our approximately 38,000-square-foot campus features multiple lecture rooms strategically positioned throughout the building to support large-group instruction and computer lab activities. Students in the Respiratory Therapy, Medical Assisting, and Pharmacy Technology programs have access to designated lab training services.
Outside the classroom, we support student learning with a library learning center, academic resources, and a student break room for downtime.

The program-specific lab spaces for Respiratory Therapy, Medical Assisting, and Pharmacy Technology students are designed to replicate professional settings such as hospital rooms, doctors’ offices, and pharmacies, allowing students to practice their skills safely in realistic environments.
Equipment for Hands-On Practice
Each program is fully equipped with the essential tools and supplies to support an interactive, engaging learning experience. Located at 4580 Ontario Mills Parkway, Carrington College Ontario serves students from communities between San Bernardino and Pomona. The campus is easily accessed by public transit, with Omnitrans Route 61 stopping at the corner of 4th and Barrington. Students outside of Ontario can commute from the Metrolink San Bernardino and Ontario Amtrak lines, which connect with local bus routes.
