Scholarships

CARRINGTON FRIENDS AND FAMILY SCHOLARSHIP

AWARD:

Each applicant who meets the requirements listed below and has been accepted into Carrington College may be eligible for the $1,500 scholarship to apply toward tuition. Award is disbursed over 6 terms ($250/term) for full time students. Student must remain continuously enrolled to maintain the scholarship and earn the full award.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:

  • Applicants who are friends or immediate family members of Carrington College current student or Alumni.
  • Applicants must start school between January 12, 2018 and June 30, 2018 at Spokane, Portland, Boise, San Jose. San Leandro, Pleasant Hill, Phoenix, Mesa, Glendale Learning Center, Tucson, Las Vegas, Reno, Sacramento, Citrus Heights, Stockton and Albuquerque campuses.
  • Approved programs include Criminal Justice, Dental Assisting, Massage Therapy, Medical Assisting, Medical Billing and Coding, Medical Administrative Assistant, Health Studies, Physical Therapy Technology, Pharmacy Technology, and Veterinary Assisting.

Scholarship awards cannot exceed tuition charges and will be applied directly to those charges. In the event that a student’s tuition charges are less than the scheduled scholarship award, the scholarship will be reduced to the amount of the tuition charge. In the event of early withdrawal, the scholarship award will be limited to the same percentage of tuition earned in accordance with the college’s refund policy.
Student loans, grants, and scholarships are available to those who qualify.

High School Graduates

Graduating high school seniors or those who have graduated high school during the most recent academic year may be eligible for the Carrington High School Scholarship of $1,000 to apply toward tuition.

Scholarship applicants must meet the following criteria to qualify

  • Satisfy Carrington admission requirements
  • Begin classes by December 31
  • Submit high school transcripts evidencing a CGPA of 2.0 or better on a 4.0 scale
  • Maintain a CGPA of 2.0 or better on a 4.0 scale for continued eligibility

As well as submit the following by the published deadline

  • Completed scholarship application
  • Two letters of recommendation
  • 50-150 word essay about why the student is interested in a career in the chosen field

CARRINGTON Reinstatement "Finish my Dream" SCHOLARSHIP

AWARD:

Each applicant who meets the requirements listed below and has been accepted into Carrington College may be eligible for the $1,250 scholarship to apply toward tuition. Award is disbursed over 5 terms ($250/term) for full time students. Student must remain continuously enrolled to maintain the scholarship and earn the full award. This may be used in conjunction with the Friends and Family Scholarship.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Must be eligible for reinstatement and have withdrawn from classes prior to August 31, 2017, and;
  • must start school between January 18, 2018 and April 1, 2018 at any location or online, and;
  • enroll in any of the following certificate or degree programs: Criminal Justice, Dental Assisting, Health Studies, Massage Therapy, Medical Assisting, Medical Billing and Coding, Medical Administrative Assistant, Health Studies, Physical Therapy Technology, Pharmacy Technology, and Veterinary Assisting
