Student Spotlight: Danella Navarro

November’s newsletter finds us turning our spotlight on Carrington College California student Danella Navarro.  Danella is earning her Associate Degree in Graphic Design and plans to graduate this February.

Danella grew up in Flagstaff, Arizona and is now living in Mesa. Danella originally started her education by going to school to be an accountant. She worked for the county for 14 years and eventually was laid off due to cut backs. She ran a preschool for the next 5 years. While teaching children, she discovered she had a skill and a love of doing graphic design for her students and friends.

During an online search, Danella found information on several schools and requested information on Carrington College California.  A counselor called Danella to discuss the opportunities available for her and found it was a great fit.

Danella’s plan is to move into the advertising side of graphic design and a dream job would be to work as a web designer in the music industry.
