Futuro Health, a non-profit organization dedicated to enhancing community health and economic well-being, is committed to graduating 10,000 allied health workers by 2024. Partnering with core supporters like Kaiser Permanente National Community Benefit Fund and Sutter Health, Futuro Health collaborates with educational institutions such as SJVC and Carrington College. This strategic alliance has led to the initiation of training programs for 286 students across 15 campus locations and online education platforms. Futuro Health identifies eligible candidates, providing colleges like Carrington College with a targeted list. A designated contact then guides these candidates through a streamlined enrollment process, ensuring accessible education and training opportunities for aspiring healthcare professionals.
BANNER HEALTH
Healthcare Workforce Development
Banner Health, a leading non-profit healthcare system employing over 50,000 individuals, has partnered with Carrington College. With the support of a 1.2 million grant given to the Banner Health Foundation, eligible employees in the metro Phoenix area now have the opportunity to train for careers as Medical Assistants through Carrington College’s Medical Assisting program.
This program can be completed in as few as nine months and equips graduates with the skills and knowledge for medical assisting roles. Its swift completion timeline enables them to seamlessly transition into positions that are typically challenging to fill at Banner Health.
This collaboration reflects Banner Health’s commitment to empowering its team members and enhancing its workforce through education pathways.
