Carrington College Spreads Holiday Cheer to Albuquerque Seniors

ABQ1 ‘Tis the Season’ devoted to the generosity of helping others and spreading holiday cheer. The Carrington College Albuquerque campus got the chance to spread their generosity by playing Santa and filling stockings for senior citizens in their community. ABQ4The students and staff prepared 100 stocking for seniors. They collected toiletries and goodies to fill each stocking. The seniors were overjoyed when they received them at The City of Albuquerque’s Department of Senior Affairs annual holiday party. ABQ3 “The Seniors were so happy to receive stockings filled with hot chocolate, tea, candy, gloves, socks, soaps, stationary, and other goodies. This was a great gesture offered by the team at Carrington College,” said Jorja Armijo-Brasher, director of the Department of Senior Affairs. The City of Albuquerque’s Department of Senior Affairs provides a wide array of services for citizens 50-years and older in the community.
