Carrington College Mesa Celebrates Nancy Ingalls 30th Anniversary

mesa-campusCarrington College is proud to announce that Nancy Ingalls, the Mesa campus’ Medical Assisting Program Director who is an integral part of the school’s success, will celebrate her 30th anniversary as a member of its respected staff. “Throughout Nancy’s 30 years with Carrington College, she has been instrumental in the creation and execution of the medical assisting curriculum and works to provide her students with a top-notch education, by immersing herself into the medical assisting field,” said Val Colmone, executive director of the Phoenix campus. “Her students and colleagues benefit from her determination and sincerity, not to mention that the school is a better place because of her dedication and expertise.” Ingalls makes sure that the medical assisting students get the experience that they need as they prepare to enter one of the decade’s fastest growing occupations nationwide. Whether drawing blood, performing injections, or handling office administration tasks, she teaches students everything they need to know through clinical instructions and classroom lectures. “When I was hired as an instructor in 2006, I was fortunate enough to observe one of Nancy’s lectures during which a student became physically ill,” said Molly Cohen, dean of allied health programs and academic affairs. “How she cared for the student showed me that Carrington doesn’t just teach a medical assistant’s basic duties, but how to truly treat a patient.”
