Carrington to Sponsor the Triumph Cancer Foundation’s Annual Fundraiser

Carrington College California will sponsor the Triumph Cancer Foundation’s annual Triumph Uncorked fundraiser, which will take place on June 21 from 5:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. at the Helwig Winery in Amador County. The foundation empowers cancer survivors through physical fitness and serves as the cancer community’s advocate by organizing events that its members can join. Tickets are for sale on its website.

“The Triumph Cancer Foundation strengthens our community and encourages its members to have healthy lifestyles, which fits perfectly with Carrington College California’s efforts,” said Jeff Akens, president of Carrington College California. “We’re proud to sponsor the Triumph Uncorked fundraiser in support of our community’s cancer survivors.”

The event will feature the jazz band Utopian Dreams, a gourmet picnic dinner with Helwig wine served in an insulated picnic tote, and a silent auction. Items include wine packages, artwork, jewelry, and more. A charter bus service that departs from Sacramento will provide transportation to and from the winery for an additional fee per person.
