Massage Therapy
People seek out massage therapy for a variety of reasons. Some want to unwind and de-stress or deal with injury through stretching and movement. Regardless of why they’re looking to soothe aches and pains, these people are looking for a massage therapist. Students in our Massage Therapy program will study anatomy and physiology, terminology, function, and structure of the body’s muscular, skeletal and internal systems, and even ethics and business concerns. The program can be completed in as few as nine months.
Pharmacy Technology
As another option for those who want to interact with the public daily, but who may not want to perform clinical tasks, our Pharmacy Technology program provides a comprehensive education for those who want to work as a pharmacy technician. Pharmacy technicians assistant pharmacists in delivering medications to the public. A pharmacy technician may work in a retail pharmacy like Walgreens or in an in-house pharmacy at medical facilities, among other work settings. Complete your pharmacy technician training in as few as nine months.
Dental Assisting
Dental assistants help hygienists and dentists with routine procedures like passing instruments and sterilizing equipment, and may work to make patients more comfortable as they visit a dental office. Carrington College’s Dental Assisting program includes classes on anatomy, physiology, and radiography, dental sealants and procedures, as well as front office duties and patient care.
Dental Hygiene
During routine office visits, a patient may spend the majority of their time with a dental hygienist. Dental hygienists remove plaque and tartar, polish teeth, and help train patients on good oral health. Students in the Carrington College Dental Hygiene program gain the skills and knowledge to provide comprehensive dental hygiene care. Instruction helps students develop professional communication skills with patients, colleagues and the public, as well as knowledge of ethical standards and professional behavior.
