We have grown to 16 locations to serve you better from where you are. Since 2000, we have offered programs in nursing. Currently, programs are delivered conveniently onsite at 9 locations, with our BSN offered fully online. We take our cues from the industry in designing real-world, hands-on career education that reflects best practices and standards in the field. That means meeting with industry professionals and employer partners for guidance on improving or updating our program curriculum to better prepare our graduates for the field. We keep your momentum going beyond your learning with individualized career advising. Because at Carrington College, we know you are just getting started putting your passion into practice.

  • How do I know I’m choosing the right program?

    That depends on your education and career goals, as well as your needs for completing your learning. Carrington College accelerated and affordable nursing programs, offered at 9 convenient locations, with our BSN offered fully online. Carrington College nursing programs include practitioner-focused education, with some programs offering preparation for the NCLEX-PN or NCLEX-RN examination*.

  • How long is a nursing program?

    It depends on the nursing program. Carrington College’s nursing programs range in length from as few as 12 months for our Vocational Nursing, Practical Nursing, Nursing Bridge, and LVN to ADN programs to as few as 15 months for our Bachelor of Science in Nursing (RN to BSN) program to as little as two years for our Associate Degree in Nursing program.

  • What are the requirements to get into nursing school?

    The requirements for nursing school vary based on the program. The basic prerequisite is a high school diploma or GED, followed by any nursing program specific prerequisite requirements. It’s important to check with an enrollment services representative at the school you are interested in to determine the requirements for that specific program.

  • What nursing school requirements are needed for a degree? 

    An Associate Degree in Nursing can be completed in as little as two years.  The ADN program at Carrington College includes coursework in general and specialty nursing concepts and practice, along with on-site clinical components.Carrington College also offers an RN to BSN completion option that can be completed in about an additional 15 months. Carrington College requires applicants for the BSN program to have an RN first.
