Upgrade your Nursing career on our LVN to RN associate degree program

RN-CCCAIf you are a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) who would like to advance your healthcare career, why not consider studying to become a Registered Nurse (RN)? While LVNs and RNs perform some similar duties, a Registered Nurse assumes responsibility for total patient care. As an RN you can have an independent, autonomous nursing practice, collaborating with other health care providers, such as physicians, podiatrists, physical therapists, to implement their medical plans of care.  Registered Nurses develop a holistic care plan for each patient, working closely with the family and community to ensure all patients receive optimal health care services. Registered Nurses (RNs) provide services to patients and their families in hospitals and in a variety of community health care agencies, homes, schools, clinics, medical offices, and residential centers. RNs apply their nursing expertise to the care of patients ranging from newborns to the elderly. The Carrington College California Registered Nursing associate degree LVN to RN) is an intensive 8 month program open to Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVNs) who are currently working.  Our program is designed to help students meet the stringent educational standards set by the California Board of Registered Nursing (BRN).
