On Thursday, August 14, 2025, Carrington College welcomed students, families, employers, and community members to its new Portland campus at 1052 SE 96th Ave, Portland, OR 97216. The campus hosted a full-day Open House, along with a Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony featuring special guests, campus tours, and interactive demonstrations.
Visitors had the opportunity to explore the campus’s hands-on labs and learn more about its programs including Dental Assisting, Medical Assisting and Veterinary Assisting. The event also included remarks from Carrington College leaders, who highlighted the importance of career education in preparing students for meaningful roles in healthcare.
“We were thrilled to open our doors and welcome the Portland community into our new campus,” said Anna Lopez, Campus Director at the Carrington College Portland campus. “This event was a chance for future students and their families to see firsthand the supportive environment and practical training we provide. We look forward to helping our students gain the skills and confidence they need to succeed in their careers.”
The celebration was part of a college-wide Open House held simultaneously at each of the Carrington College locations across six states, offering prospective students a closer look at programs designed to prepare them for entry into today’s healthcare workforce.
