Vocational Nursing
Carrington College’s Vocational Nursing program offers a quick path to becoming a nurse. The program teaches the knowledge and hands-on skills to provide basic patient care in entry-level healthcare positions and prepares students to pursue licensed vocational nurse credentials.* Earn your Vocational Nursing Certificate in as few as 12 months.
Pharmacy Technology
The Pharmacy Technology program trains students to become pharmacy technicians, who assist pharmacists in delivering medications to the public. Pharmacy technicians may work in settings like retail pharmacies or in-house pharmacies at medical facilities. (2)
Students can complete the Pharmacy Technology program in as few as 9 months. An excellent choice for those who want to interact with the public in healthcare settings but prefer not to perform clinical tasks, the program prepares students to sit their national certification exams.*
LVN to ADN
Nurses often return to school to grow their careers, earning everything from certificates to master’s degrees and PhDs. Carrington College’s LVN to ADN program is designed for licensed vocational nurses seeking an Associate Degree in Nursing. Earn your degree in as few as 8 months.
Medical Assisting
Medical assistants handle a mix of clinical and administrative work in physicians’ offices, hospitals, and other healthcare facilities — from taking vital signs and recording patient histories to scheduling appointments. (3)

Dental Assisting
Dental assistants support dentists and dental hygienists during routine procedures — passing instruments, sterilizing equipment, and helping patients feel at ease during their visit. Dental Hygiene
During routine office visits, patients often spend most of their time with a dental hygienist, who removes plaque and tartar, polishes teeth, and guides patients toward better oral health. (5)

Veterinary Technology

Modern Facilities
The three-building Sacramento college campus sits on a seven-acre site. Facilities include a 25-chair dental hygiene clinic, a five-chair radiography laboratory, two computer laboratories, an eight-bed nursing laboratory, a professional veterinary technology surgery suite, a pharmacy technology lecture classroom with a simulated retail environment, and two four-chair Dental Assisting laboratories with ten lecture/laboratory classrooms.
Classrooms Geared for Learning
The Carrington College Sacramento campus offers modern classrooms with ceiling-mounted LCD projectors, a student success center equipped with reference materials, textbooks, and journals, student computers, a learning laboratory with tutoring services, and a four-bed simulation laboratory.
Outside the classroom, the Sacramento campus has two student unions, a copy and distribution center, a staff lounge, a conference room, and a student finance kiosk station. Within the three buildings are administrative offices offering a variety of student services, including enrollment services, career services, registrar services, and financial services.
