Carrington College is proud to announce a $10,000 contribution from PDS Health (formerly Pacific Dental Services) to support the growth and development of its Dental Assisting programs. This contribution underscores PDS Health’s commitment to advancing dental education and empowering future dental assistants in the communities it serves. The funds will be used to purchase intraoral cameras which serve as critical tools to enhance the training of Carrington College’s Dental Assisting students.
To celebrate the contribution, Rosalinda Olague, PDS Health’s Director of Dental Assisting Programs and School Relations, will be visiting select Carrington College campuses to make in-person presentations. The first presentation took place on Feb. 4, 2025, at 11 a.m. PST at Carrington College’s Sacramento campus. Students, faculty, and staff were invited to join this special event.
“PDS Health is honored to contribute to the success of Carrington College’s Dental Assisting programs,” said Olague. “By providing this funding for new equipment, we aim to ensure students receive quality training and are prepared to thrive in their future careers.”
Tim Pitman, Campus Director at the Carrington College campus in Sacramento, expressed his gratitude for the support from PDS Health. “We deeply appreciate PDS Health’s dedication to our students’ success. Their contribution enables us to enhance the hands-on training we provide, equipping our students with the tools and skills for success in the dental field.”
The announcement comes just ahead of Dental Assistant Recognition Week (DARW), taking place March 2-8, 2025. This annual observance celebrates the vital role dental assistants play in ensuring the efficiency and quality of dental care. Carrington College is proud to celebrate DARW, highlighting the achievements and dedication of its Dental Assisting students and alumni.
