BOISE, Idaho – (August 2, 2011) – Carrington College, a part of DeVry Inc. a global provider of educational services, announces the appointment of Danielle Horras as executive director of the Boise campus. In her new position, Horras will be directly responsible for the successful operation of the campus, including financial performance and implementing initiatives to increase student and staff satisfaction in the college’s programs and services.
“Danielle’s extensive background in educational leadership makes her an excellent fit as executive director of Carrington College Boise,” said Thomas Bloom, Ph.D., president of Carrington College. “Bringing many years of experience and knowledge of the Boise community, we are pleased with the addition of Danielle to the depth of talent we have at Carrington College.”
Prior to joining Carrington College, Horras served multiple roles at Stevens-Henager College, including director of student services and director of career services where she was responsible for maintaining accreditation standards, providing career guidance and developing relationships with employers. From there she advanced to associated director and oversaw administration, marketing, enrollment, academic affairs and student services operations to ensure quality, effectiveness and efficiency throughout the campus.

Horras holds a Master of Education in counseling and human services and Bachelor of Science in public communication and public relations from University of Idaho. She is involved in Leadership Boise, a program that identifies civic leaders within the community, and an active board member of the Northwest Career College Federation.
