A new beginning

When I decided to enroll at Carrington-Spokane, I will admit, I was scared to death. As an older student I thought I would find my breaking point. And in FA100, I found that point and I wanted to just quit! But I made a major discovery…..I found ME….and I like that me. That me now has the self motivation and highly set goals like never before. And little did I know how much it would change my whole outlook on life. I had gone to college before and had no clue what else I could do to continue my education. From day one until the last day of class I still questioned myself. “How am I going to do this?” But with the staff beginning with enrollment to the end of my externship I was guided and instructed with compassion and caring and so much encouragement I could not fail. It has built up my self-esteem, confidence and knowledge like I could never imagined!! I have completed the Medical Assistant program with honors AND PRIDE! I also had the privilege to be an Ambassador for the afternoon MA program, that gave me even more confidence. During my externship I knew I had made the right decision!! And it has inspired me to continue on with my education. I am now attending online for my Associate’s in Science-Health Studies. And after that…..the sky is the limit and time to spread my wings!! I want to thank Hilary Padilla, my FA100 instructor, and Cody Stevens, my instructor for the duration. Thank you Steve Vawter and Marisa Muzatko, my enrollment reps for having faith in me and for your encouragement from the get go. My thank you list could go on and on. So to EVERYONE at Carrington College THANK YOU for guiding ME to redirect and change MY LIFE!
