Dr. Ghaleb Okla has been with Carrington College for ten years, and is thrilled to transition into the role of National Dean.
Okla previously served as Director of Clinical Education, Respiratory Care Program Director, Campus Dean, and Regional Respiratory Care Director.
Prior to joining the Carrington Flock, Okla spent 20 years working in health care operations and 16 years in academics, both nationally and internationally. Just before coming to Carrington, he was the Associate Dean of the Faculty of Medicine and the Vice President of the Medical Center of the American University of Beirut.
“I have a huge amount of love and passion for education and success,” Okla said.
What Okla enjoys most about helping students take the next step toward their careers is seeing them smile and share their joys when they graduate.
Okla is a member of several professional organizations, including the American Association for Respiratory Care and the Lebanese Medical Association, as well as a fellow with the American Heart Association and a Diplomat in Health Care.
When Okla isn’t working, you’ll find him traveling and reading.
