Tunnisia Nelson is a graduate of Carrington’s Medical Office Management program. Her mom passed away while giving birth to her, which gave Tunnisia many obstacles to face growing up without a mother. She made it through the tough times and was always able to maintain her academic ability. The Medical Office Management program made it easy for her to finish because of the smaller classrooms, one-on-one attention, caring staff and classmates, and accelerated courses. Tunnisia is a single mom, in her thirties and feels that once you’ve become a mother you’ve become a referee. She hopes that her children will look up to her one day and realize she didn’t give up and wanted a better life for them and herself.
