Julie knew she needed to make a change to feel better about herself, and wanted to make her mother proud after losing her from cancer in 2005. When she started in the Massage Therapy certificate program at Carrington College California, she became dedicated, always showed up to school and was eager to learn every day. Carrington was Julie’s second home and she became very close to the staff and her classmates. She was proud of herself for graduating and becoming a massage therapist. She said if she could say anything to her mom right now, she would say that she hopes her mom could see the woman that she’s become and that she’s proud of her.
