Life long career!

by Jeremy Troumbley - May 22nd, 2013
Advanced education with instructors that have experience and knowledge to share. The small classes gave me lots of one on one with my instructors and time to practice and learn. An abundance of resources for learning and taking my education to the next level. I am now a college grad with a great career in front of me for my family and I. Thank you Carrington Spokane.

When I first started at Carrington I did not have a lot of confidence that I was going to do well. However, the teachers and staff were wonderful. They truly care about their students. If you have a question they never make you feel inferior in any way. I loved my experience durring my time on campus. It was a time in my life that gave me new confidence to start a new chapter in my life with a career that has great potential.

A blessing

by Bryonna Bobino - May 21st, 2013
The campus has helped me have hope in trying to rediscover a career in healthcare preferably dental assisting. I've given up plenty of times before due to the lack of ethics with previous schools & teachers not specifically teaching what was needed to be taught. Also moving from the Bay Area I had no choice of school to select from until I ran into carrington college in Stockton I've met a wonderful counselor that made it possible, financial advisor , 2 great teachers giving me the materials I need to know to get my career started etc. I've never been this excited to attend class since I graduated high school so after so many failed attempts from college and thinking ill have to suffer with minimum wage jobs for the rest of my life. Today I can say I can wait to become certified and start new beginnings in my life thanks to all the help with the staff & the school itself

my story

by lara lay - May 20th, 2013
I went in wanting a program that could get me a job quick, like Pharm tech. After talking to my advisor Lailanie she got to know me and recommended I take the criminal justice program because it made more sense with what I want to do later on. I am now three weeks in and couldn't be more thankful for her advice and actually taking her time to get to know me and what's best for,me. 16 months from now I will,be the first person in my family to have a college degree.

Dreams of a Better Education

by Demetris (Mechie) Brown - May 10th, 2013
Attending Carrington College California @ Antioch was one of the best decisions I have ever made. I had second guessed myself due to my age, as well as my multiple attempts at a better college education. From the first time I set foot on campus, I was made to feel welcomed as if I was family. Ms. Jackie (Gilmore) encouraged me to reach higher that I had ever dreamed, and because of her, I have come this far. I am now a graduate and the feeling of being family have not left me; that's because Carrington is a family. Everyone is loving, encouraging, and always available for whatever you may need. On my second week of class, I had a family emergency that would cause most people to withdrawl from the program. Actually, I had non-stop emergencies throughout my time at Carrington. My instructor Mrs. P (Probst) was the angel on my shoulder that assured me that eveything would turn out okay. Only because of the abundance of support that I recieved from the staff, I continued on to complete my studies as a continuous President's List (4.0 GPA) student. Carrington offers a program called ASPIRE that is designed to support the students in any way that is necessary; this ranges from personal issues, academic, and even will help to figure out financial hardships. The staff understands what it means to be a student and go above and beyond to help you succeed. It is only because of the staff that my dreams of a better education have become a reality. I have been so encouraged that I am not stopping at the Certificate program, I will soon be starting on my Associates degree. I know college may seem overwhelming, but never let it scare you away. I encourage you to embrace the anxiety and turn it into motivation that will change your life for the better. I did it and so can you!!!

I have been tired

by Sheri M Rush - May 10th, 2013
I have been tired of the Walmart job I have I needed a change just that something more to make my life and those around me better. I needed a change I knew I couldn't do just anything with age not on my side, I knew I had to do something that wasn't going to put my body into oh my god she's wearing me out again.. I wanted to use my brain, I wanted to be a better me. So off to the search I went to find what was right for me. I thought about all kinds of diffrent jobs i could do and thought ok lets try medical billing and coding. I knew at the start it wouldnt be easy but its been worth it...

Fun and Cheerful experience

by Analesa Rodriguez - May 9th, 2013
The people I met and the things we did in class were fun and easy. My instructor was always understanding and helped as much as she could with any problems I might have had. I looked forward to arriving early and chatting with my fellow classmates every monday thru thursday. I think this education will benefit me greatly in the future, especially my decision to continue with the "MOM" or Medical Office Management program at Carrington. I'll miss the environment and the easy going of the class, but all in all it was fantastic while it lasted.

The instructors in Dental Assisting are incredible! Any time I had a question or needed feedback, they were always willing to help and go that extra mile. They are very knowledgeable in their field. They taught me things that I will take with me in my new career. I would recommend this school to any one I know. Thank you.

Carrington worked out well for me. I had been to 3 other schools and hadnt accomplished anything. My instructor was great and she took time out for all of her students. And they really assist you with jobs and all the training you may need even after you graduate.

"California Dreamin"

by Maggie Popal - May 1st, 2013
I live in California and have been trying to get into a local nursing school for over a year. The impaction of applicants here made it impossible. I met with Kathryn Sheppard the director of nursing at Phoenix Westside Campus. She is such an amazing woman. She willingly guided me in the direction of my dreams. I have such respect for the entire administration and would recommend Carrington College to everyone I know.

never stop dreaming

by Viviana Ortiz - April 30th, 2013
Walking into Carrington college was the best thing i could have done. Enrolling and being part of the first class for medical assistant made me very proud but soon after i had bad news i had a fake high school diploma which I didn't even know about. At that moment of finding out i was pleased to meet everyone on campus which never left me alone everyone played a big roll in helping me to get everything corrected which i did i went and took my GED which i passed with tutoring classes provided by the staff at the campus. After getting everything taking care of i became the third class to join and graduate from Carrington College which I couldn't finish without everyone being by my side. I highly thank everyone!

Realize my strengths, weaknesses Understand myself Discover myself Uncover myself By returning to school I remembered where I wanted to be in my life. I want to be in a place where I can be a part of the medical setting that doesn't have any interactions with the patients but still has a part in the life of the patients. I love working in the background as opposed to in the front lines of the medical field. That doesn't say that I don't care for the health and safety of patients and their families because I truly do! I just prefer to not be seen as I care about them :) Yes I am that shy. That is one of the things I discovered about myself as I had to do presentations for grades in front of the class. It was nerve racking but much fun to later laugh at my own mistakes during break times with my classmates. From working in a casino where it's always busy, entertaining, loud, and exciting to go from that to being laid off and staying home, applying for housekeeping jobs (I was looking for something that would keep me physically busy in a quiet setting) and being turned down for over a year and knowing that I have something to offer I had to do something different and school had been on my mind for some time. Well two of my nieces were attending Carrington and had told me wonderful things about it and so I looked into it. I met Nick, took the tour, met Ms. Sleeper, and as she told me of all the opportunities that could be offered to a Medical Biller or Coder I had made my decision. I wanted to enroll into the MBC program! I have had an extremely busier life since starting school but it has been even more fulfilling. I love school and I definitely loves me back! Not seeing the girls in class everyday will be sad in 5 weeks when we graduate together (God willing).

I have always loved animals and now I get to live my dream working with them for the rest of my days.

by Maricela Griffin - April 17th, 2013
The great and friendly staff do everything in their power to help you succeed in whatever program you decide is your calling.

Never too late!

by Leslie Pater - April 13th, 2013
Enrolling in college twenty-nine years after graduating high school, I knew college wouldn't be easy or everyone would be doing as I am. And the homework I am bringing home everyday is living up to my expectations, but I truly believe I am getting my moneys worth here at Carrington. The faculty and students alike are great, and being there are students of all ages and from many different backgrounds, many of us are returning to school for the same reasons. I definately feel a connection with most of my fellow students even though we aren't all the same age and from different backgrounds. I enrolled at Carrington because I wanted to further my education and I have no regrets, but attending is definately a full-time endeavor.

How Carrington has helped me.

by Amy True - April 12th, 2013
Since I have been attending Carrington, I have learned alot. The teachers that I have have been very helpful and are very understanding. If there is a way that they can help you, they will. I feel very comfortable when I am at school. I feel safe.

A New Focus

by Dawn - April 12th, 2013
I graduated with a Bachelor's in Music, and then found out my life was going nowhere fast. Carrington was recommended to me, and though the idea of going back to school was daunting, I decided to check it out. I'm glad I did! I have more focus in the small classes than I ever did at my old college in Colorado. The teachers really take the time to talk to you. Once you get into your certification-specific classes, the curriculum is great too.

by Angel - April 12th, 2013
Carrington College has been the best experience. The people at Carrington are kind and very helpful. Whenever I needed help with deciding what to major in they helped me with that. The instructors were also great with helping with assignments and all. Some of my assignments weren't that easy to understand and my instructors answered all the questions I had. Over all I loved the school and would continue more education with them later on. THANKS CARRINGTON.

by Savannah Dedman - April 10th, 2013
Carrington refresh my mind in economics and basic math. I have been out of school for about three years. The first six weeks maybe the easiest subjects I learned all over again. Starting in core class... I can't wait for this challenge to help through every i wanted to become in the medical field. Meeting new friends in my classes and being confident to talk to people. Carrington is the best decision I made and getting further into my education.

Never to Late

by Lisa - April 8th, 2013
I was at a stand still in my life and not sure what I wanted to do next. I was a young mom so that left me a young woman with grown children not knowing what to do. I tossed some ideas around and found Carrington on line so I called. I had a wonderful conversation with the woman and she set me up with a time to meet an advisor. I met my advisor and she was so encouraging and never once made me feel like I had to decide that day. It took me a month to think about committing to the program and when I called my advisor back she knew exactly who I was. She gave me a time to come in and meet with her and anyone else who passed her office. Everyone was so helpful and willing to answer any questions I had. I started the program a few weeks later and boy was I nervous. I hadn't been in school for over 20 years besides a college class here and there. The teachers was so nice and helped me get right into things. Everyone got along pretty well and it always seemed like the students that were getting ready to leave on extern were willing to help the most. I enjoyed my classes and the hands on lab. I learned so much and felt like I knew more than the MA at the office where I was an extern at. When I had questions or I felt like I needed help with something I knew the staff was always there to help me. I graduated from the medical program at Carrington College San Jose in May 2012. That was one of the happiest days of my life. I had always told my kids that they could achieve any goal they want and school is never to late. Three of my four kids were able to be there that day, and I felt like I showed them it's never to late. They all told me how proud they were and my 2nd son said, "It's never to late." That made me cry.

My Carrington Experience

by Sabrina Kelly - April 1st, 2013
Carrington College has been the best decision that I have made so far in my life. About two years ago I tried to attend Carrington College but since I was a dependant it wasn’t possible for me so I waited two years till I was 24 to pursue my education and I am glad I did. My Financial Aid Advisor, Career Services Rep, and my teacher were always very helpful and encouraging when I needed it. I was always learning new things about the career that I have chosen to pursue. I would definitely recommend Carrington College because I feel that it is a great way to start your career!!

Carrington has been a very good help from my teacher to my classmates & faculty, they were amazing. From July to December of 2012 I was pregnant, I only missed one day, never took a leave & attempted to have all A's & B's. Throughout that time my wonderful teacher Ms.Yeager was the biggest help of all! If I had the opportunity to do it again I will! I'm proud to say I will be graduating from Carrington College California June 21, 2013!!!!

My Amazing Education Journey at Carrington

by Christine Pasciuti - March 26th, 2013
I was treated at Carrington, first of all, to a thorough and challenging education in Medical Assisting, that has prepared me well for a job in the field. Secondly, the faculty and staff called me by name, and made themselves available to me in a very personal and supportive way, which I really appreciated. They truly cared about my success! I felt part of a family during my ten months on the Reno campus. I've already recommended the school to others.

Everyone on campus is friendly and makes you feel welcome. I am more than happy with my instructor she always manages to keep me on point and with no doubts left behind acknowledging that everyone learns different and have different pace she takes her time with each individual and finds a way to see you succeed.. Not all teachers have that same devotion! She's the best teacher that I have had so far.

Changed my life

by Rachel Brownell - March 20th, 2013
I am a local to the Bay Area, born and raised in San Leandro. My house was known as the “zoo on the block”. I was raised with everything from dogs, cats, guinea pigs, rabbits, birds, reptiles, and even rats! At age 19, I joined and served 4 years in the United States Marine Corps. While in the service she spent 2 years living in Japan, and spent her last 2 years down in Southern California at Camp Pendleton. I was honorably discharged at the rank of Sergeant in May, 2008. By July, I was enrolled full time in college working on her Associates degree in science. After graduation, I started working with animals at a doggy day care and began rekindling her passion and love for animals. In April 2011, I enrolled with Carrington College of California in the Veterinary Technology Program working her way towards becoming a Registered Veterinary Technician. I truly feels she has finally found her calling! When I am not at work, school or spending many hours a week studding I enjoy spending time with her 2 beloved dogs Roxy and Roscoe, spending as much time outside as possible, reading and making time with her family who still reside in her childhood home in San Leandro.

RN program

by Lilly Velazquez - March 16th, 2013
Carrington College in Sacramento was a place that gave me the opportunity to reach my long life goal of becoming a Registered Nurse. I had my eye set on this campus for several years before I actually got accepted into the LVN to RN step up program. I had looked into many different schools knowing that CCC was the best and smartest choice. The faculty is helpful and want us students to succeed, the library is always open and they have and incredible person who runs it who always proof read my papers which helped me get good grades. This accelerated program is not for everyone, you must be independent, persistant and organized to be able to come out of this program with a diploma. I am a mother of 2 boys and worked very little hours through this intense program, it was very challenging, however, I made it and had excellent grades becasuse I tried my best and never procastinated. If you are alot like me, and wish to get the degree you desereve to make a better life for your family then CCC is the place for you. Lilly V.

New Oppurtunities

by Earl L Donajkowski - March 8th, 2013
Carrington Online has allowed me the chance to further my education without the hassle of a classroom setting. Not saying that a classroom setting is not great, but for someone on the go from day to day and can't make specific times, it has been a life saver. I get the chance to discuss my opinions with fellow classmates and learn at an accelerated pace with great instructors who really want you to succeed. I am contacted weekly to be checked in on and asked if there is anything more that can be done for me. I really appreciate and enjoy my courses and look forward to next year when I will have obtained my associates degree in the Sales and Marketing program.

Going places

Carrington College California Emeryville has helped me develop confidence in myself that anything is possible. It all begins with you making that first step and believing in yourself. Along with hard work and determination. My instructors were great and they really care about helping you reach your goals. Along with student services, they are very helpful as well. Carrington College helped me land my very first job. The externship site where I was placed happened to be hiring and I got the position!! Hard work really does pay off!

An amazing Opportunity

by Sara Eloe - March 1st, 2013
Thanks to Carrington, I am able to go back to school and finally fulfill my dreams of helping people toward health of mind and body. The campus itself is perfect in assisting students to focus on their goals in going to school. It is so wonderful to be able to become close to the instructors in the small class environment instead of being thrown into a classroom of a lot of students. I feel absolutely blessed to be given this opportunity.

Great Learning Experience

by Andrew Makowski - February 28th, 2013
Carrington College has helped motivate me to want to learn again. After high school, I was afraid that I wouldn't succeed in college the way I did previously. But once I spoke to some of Carrington's top academic advisors, they helped me believe that it was possible and completely within my reach. The classes started out easy and became more challenging as I progressed. This was a good thing because nothing too difficult came out all at once. It gave me the time I needed grow academically at a slow and steady pace. Now, I'm so happy that I took up this opportunity to get my degree. I couldn't have asked for a better school to help me get to where I am today and open up doors to a better future.

Carrington is my end to low paying jobs.

by Angela Fitchett - February 27th, 2013
Before attending Carrington College I was working anywhere I could get hired, but was never really happy with any of them. I had been wanting to go back to school but didn't really want to go through 2-3+ years of classes just to get somewhere in life. I found Carrington College online and while browsing through the website, I noticed that they offered several different fields of study that I was interested in. I got in touch with an advisor and 1 month later I'm on my way to my career!

My wings are growing and I am ready to soar

by Christina Vang - February 26th, 2013
I have only started my first mod at Carrington College this month and I have to say I can already feel that my wings are slowly growing. Each day, I attend class, I learn something new and each day is an accomplishment. My instructor is helpful, kind and she does care about our education. I really enjoy coming to class and doing homework because I am only focusing on one thing and that one thing is really ONE thing; Medical Billing and Coding. So far, I am doing well and I tell myself everyday that I can do it. Motivating ourselves is the first step that will help ourselves make goals happen and I am happy to say that I am attending Carrington College because I never felt like I could fly and I never felt like I could have wings to explore and expand. Now, that I have this opportunity and I will do my best because I am ready to soar with experience and skills that can be useful in the field. Lastly, just be yourself and be comfortable because anything you do, no one is doing it for you but yourself.

Just GO FOR IT!

by Melanie E Miller - February 26th, 2013
Carrington College-Sacramento has helped me find a career and future I'm completely happy with! From the moment I stepped through the main entrance, to my current days in my classes, I'm welcomed and valued not only as a student, but as a potential future colleague. After many years in the working world, I felt I wasn't in the place I wanted to be and decided to return to school and work towards a career that would fulfill one of my passions: the medical field. Years of experience as a manager and leader won't go unused, as I decided on Healthcare Administration. I feel inspired and challenged everyday, and Mr. Bosek and Mrs. Young are amazing teachers and role models. I love the smaller class sizes, and I'm most excited about the externship that will take place during the last leg of my journey with Carrington. If you're someone who's considering Carrington College, think no further and GO FOR IT!

My experience with Carrington College

by Jessica Sorrell - February 26th, 2013
I was so tired of waiting on waiting lists at other schools, I also have a 6 year old daughter I'm supporting and want to give her a wonderful life. I wanted to accomplish my goals like getting a career and buying a house. I contacted carrington feeling down, and they lifted me back up again. I feel like I am accomplishing my goals one at a time. It was amazingly fast and easy to get in and I'm very happy to be here . I called about school around Feb 5, and was in school on the 11th! I can't wait to start my career as a medical assistant and hope to get my own house in the near future :)

A mother wanting to better herself!

by Michelle G. - February 26th, 2013
I'm still enrolled at Carrington College at this time. What I can tell you so far is the instructors are amazing. Even though you are learning a lot in a short period of time, the instructors take their time teaching you. All the instructors at Carrington College make sure you know they are there for you and you can reach them when ever you need to for help! At Carrington I believe they want you to succeed just as much as you do and your family. I didn't finish college and I knew if I wanted better opportunities for my career that I needed to finish my education. Also it's teaching my son a valuable lesson, that education is alway the best path to choose. I couldn't of pick a better school to finish my medical education at then Carrington.

Carrington has helped me by letting me know and feel that I can succeed and will accomplish my goal of graduating. I was attending Pima for 3 semesters and felt like I was getting nothing done. At Carrington the staff and students all make you feel welcomed and that this is where you belong. I cannot wait to graduate in December with my class and have a successful career in Medical Billing and Coding.

Looking Forward to an Exciting Career which Brings Joy to Others

by Dave Lockwood - February 26th, 2013
After several years of working for what I considered nothing more than a paycheck, I decided to start over and prepare for a career that would excite me. After a great deal of thought, I realized one of the few things I thoroughly enjoyed was being around animals and seeing the happiness their well-being brings to their owners. With a little research, I found that Carrington Colleges Pomona campus offered the vet tech program I was looking for. I went in to gather more information and was immediately impressed by the outgoing staff. Everyone I spoke with exceeded expectations and informed me they were available should I have any questions or need anything. I was so impressed, I made my decision immediately and enrolled on the spot. Once classes began I continued to marvel at the staffs sincerity and genuine desire to be of assistance. From personnel in admissions, financial aid, classroom instructing, department heads, student services, all the way up to the schools director, I felt confident that the staffs mission was to insure each student attained their goals. I'm only three weeks in and already believe this is the best decision I've made in my life. I feel very fortunate to be attending Carrington College in Pomona, CA.

Follow in her footsteps...

by Melanie Hernandez - February 26th, 2013
I was a stay at home mom before I started attending Carrington College CA-Sacramento. Growing up my mother was a medical assistant and still is today. Somehow she was able to work full time as well as be a full time mother and wife. She was always present for every event in our lives. After the birth of my first child I wanted to follow my mother's footsteps and be there everyday for Makayla and have a good career. It wasn't until the birth of my second child, Azael, when I decided to start my journey towards becoming a medical assistant. After dealing with "boo boo's" and other medical issues not only from my kids but helping friends and other family members I realized I loved it and was ready to go back to school to further my education. With the help of Carrington College I know I can reach my goals and maybe one day work side by side with my hero and inspiration... My mother.

I wanted to do something else in the health field and decided that I should try something new, but a career that was in demand. The dental assistant program is what I am t taking right now. A crazy twist in life

by Larry Breitman - February 25th, 2013
I had no real intention of enrolling in school but I knew I had to do something different in my life. By the end of my fact finding mission to Carrington Tucson, not only was I on my way to starting classes but also being approved for a small grant and a student loan. I had to take five weeks off and they were very accommodating. Any time I've had a question or needed help with school work, someone is there for me. It was very intimidating to back to school after so many years but now I've settled in and building up my confidence for a new career.

Realizing My Dream

by Tiffany Flores - February 19th, 2013
After 18 years and many of life's speed bumps, I finally have the opportunity to chase my dream and make it my reality. I started the process in the summer 2012 ready to start school October 2012. However, yet another speed bump appeared as my husband was ran over by a car that resulted in massive injuries. My admissions advisor, Marty, stuck with me. I was finally, offically enrolled to start classes in February 2013. I was then notified that there were issues with my financial aid. The director of financial aid, Tammera, was not going to let this stand in my way. She assured me she would have me in class on the first day and that we would continue to work on it. Had it not been for all of the support I received from Marty and the financial aid department as a whole, I would not be where I am today. Aside from doing this for me and the betterment of my family, I feel I own everyone who has made this happen for me my best.

What I received from Carrington College...

by Susan Chance - February 14th, 2013
I chose Carrington because it would cost less and take less time than other schools that I looked into. I completed my course in Health Care Administration with far more than I expected. I am now well rounded for an administration position in health care. I would not trade this experience with Carrington for anything. It was worth all the effort I put into it. I finished my classes with perfect attendance and a 4.0 GPA. I had never done this before. Mrs. Tobin kept the class both informational and entertaining. She encourages all the students to do their best!

Great teachers

by Sophie Nguyen - February 13th, 2013
I really appreciate all of my teachers. They were so experienced in the field and were able to really well translate their experiences to us. They were able to demonstrate the skills with great techniques and taught us very well with the safety precaution aspect. They were also very kind and caring, being there for us for moral support when we were going through stressful times. I also enjoyed the community activities that we did, such as giving to the homeless and making valentine cards...

My wonderful experience at Carrington College

by Brittni Spicer - February 7th, 2013
In 2011 to 2012 things were not going very well for me. I lost my job that I loved and was looking to no prevail for a new job. I had been thinking about going back to school for sometime now and always wanted to go into Massage Therapy ever since my junior year in high school when my health class went on a field trip to a Massage Therapy clinic. The Massage Therapist that showed us around was very nice and enthusiastic about her work. She talked about her career as being very interesting and rewarding. So I started looking into school and found out about carrington college in Spokane. I made an appointment with Chastity Garcia a student services advisor. She is a wonderful person and was very helpful and within the next week I was starting the Massage Therapy program. At first I was very anxious but excited at the same time. I wont lie it was a lot of hard work and I had a lot of bumps along the way but the program was fun and the teachers were awesome and very knowledgeable. My fellow classmates were wonderful and we all helped each other along the way and I have made life long friends. The services on campus and the people were a great help. Natalie in the registrar is a very sweet and caring person who is willing to help in any way that she can. My teacher Sandy Singh was very incouraging and stood behind her students all the way. She was not just a teacher too me. She made my experience better with her support and great attitude. I graduated in January of 2013 and I owe much of my succes to the wonderful people at Carrington College, thank you very much for all your help.

My Future

by Theresa A. Gustin - February 7th, 2013
Carrington has helped me accomplish my goal of completing the Massage Therapy course. At mid-point i became very discouraged, not because i felt i couldn't continue, but because i am a mom with 2 beautiful boys, and have responsibilities. We spent the entire time that i was attending college broke. But, through prayer and faith i continued on. My boys did not complain during our tough times. I did assure them that there is a pot of gold at the end of this rainbow. I plan on starting my own business and offering my clients several different services. Thank you Carrington College.

I started nursing at the community college but due to a very large class, not receiving enough support and time from my instructors, and overwhelming frustration, I questioned if it was the right path for me. In my heart I knew it was so I decided to come back into nursing at carrington and fell in love with the nursing program. I regained my passion of becoming a nurse. Carrington instructors and staff helped me acheived my goals and were there to make sure i understand the material. I made a great decision by coming to carrington.

Newly graduate from stockton California campus

by Sarahjean - January 28th, 2013
Two years ago i decided it was time to change my major. I was attending a junior college and the atmosphere of over crowded classes and never really getting that one on one time with my teachers was difficult. it made me think maybe college wasnt for me. But after some research i found Carrington College veterinary technology course. I decided to call and they schedule a appointment to see what this school had to offer. I joined that day to start on march 28th 2011 and two year later graduated on January 23rd 2013. I can say i graduated with my associates degree in animal science, and i am currently working as a vet tech. I owe a lot to my teachers, they will push you and help you in anyway they can to make sure we are prepared for the work force. And my classmates, one thing i did not except to experience from going to a trade school is building friendships the way i got too, the ladys that i got to experience all the hard work with are also the reason i am a graduate, you learn to support each other. So i do highly recommended anyone interested in veterinary technology check out Carrington.

Carrington has been great for me. I had tried a registered nursing program that was close to my home but it left me discouraged with a major case of self-doubt. I have always known that nursing is what I've been called to do and now I am fulfilling that calling. The Boise Carrington staff has bent over backwards to help me get into their program as well as succeed in the program. I am very thankful for all of them.

The Beginning

by Jade Butler - January 18th, 2013
it all started while i was getting ready to go to work at walmart. not that its a bad job but ive always wanted more. i recieved a call from the call center and spoke with someone who patched me to Marisa. Everything seemed to have shifted that day, after i met with her there were a few glitches to work through. then the actual school part. tough? yes! it was almost grueling getting up everyday i have to admit, i was excited to be there but everyday seemed to be a constant struggle for me and what seemed to be every other student, but we all kept coming . there has to be something in that. 10.5 months later im now a graduate and working towards bigger and better things. Everyday that ive finished the program i think back to that day and shake my head, its crazy what happens in life.

New year new start.

Kimberly Carleton was my Enrollment Services Representative, she made my enrollment the best experience. Her encouraging advise and knowledge about Carrington college's history and enrollment process was a big part in my decision to attend Carrington. Her kind and well explained knowledge of the programs made it easier for her to answer my questions and make me confident in taking the next step to a brighter future. I thank her hard work and dedication to her students.

I was in a rut. I was raised being told I would never be anyone or anything. I had no clue what I was going to do or where to go. Then I called Carrington College California. Life Changes

by LaTessa Fernandez - January 17th, 2013
At first, I wanted to be a Registered Nurse and I worked toward that goal for many years. However, with the birth of my daughter my priorities suddenly shifted and waiting for 4 (or more) years to just to get into a program didn't fit with my family any longer. With Carrington, I was able to start almost immediately and the potential to graduate quickly with a great education in order to give my family the best.

It has helped me feel comfortable in my own class. I am no longer overwhelmed or lost because the classes are small that I know all my classmates and my instructor. Phase Two Of My Life

by Joann Chapman-Moreno - January 17th, 2013
I am, as one would say, a much more mature student. Mature in the sense of years. I can honestly say the entire staff is mature. It is a joy to be coming to be educated by those who have the real life experiences to pull from and share. Those who I met from my first walk onto the campus gave me the feeling this where I should be. Please know that I am a night student who drives in returning commute traffic to get to class each day. The same committment I give to reach my Carrington College is the same committment I am given in return. Anyway, time to move on and continue with my studies.

A New Adventure.

My counselor Mike Craven made my dream so easy to accomplish. I had put school off for so long that i thought it would be extremely difficult to get the process going. Mike made it easier then 1 2 3 and i absolutely love it and am now apart of the medical assisting program. A "New Beginning"

by Wendy deHaydu - January 16th, 2013
I'm a 43 year old single mother. I never went to college but made a good living working as a Mortgage Wholesale Account Executive... Until the market crashed and that field became extinct. I lost everything & had no skills to fall back on. I struggled in the failing economy but managed to get a position selling New Homes with a local builder. I was doing ok but knew it wasn't what I wanted to do for the rest of my career, working EVERY weekend & inconsistent pay got to me. Then I was let go & things got really rough. I knew that I had to make a REAL change. I explored getting a 4 year degree but knew too many who had them but no job. I decided a specialized skill would be best, but what?? I enjoy people & love the interaction part of sales so when I saw a commercial for Carringtons DA program a light went off. It was a field with growing demand & I could still have personal interaction with a variety of people. The idea of helping people feel better about their oral health & possibly ease a nervous patients anxieties was very appealing to me. Carringtons program moves quickly so I can be out there working quickly and the lecture combined with hands on learning are helping to make me feel I will be fully prepared to work in an office when I graduate. It has given me something to really be excited & work towards. After not being in school for about 25 years I was nervous but the teachers & staff are incredibly supportive & if you feel your struggling with any area they are more than willing to do whatever they can to help. I'm looking forward to reaching my goal but am enjoying the journey there. I wish I had done this 20 years ago but you know what they say " better late than never"

Breathing New Life into an Old Flame

by Darcy Sartor - January 16th, 2013
Hello, My name is Darcy Sartor. I was first introduced to Carrington College of California, Pomona Campus,in March of 2011. Having been unemployed since 2008, due to down sizing, I felt it was time to reinvent this 51 year old. My mobility has debilitated in the past 5 years due to severe osteoarthritis and I am having to use a cane to get around. I don't feel as old as the cane and my legs make me feel! I returned to school in March 2011, was featured as the Carrington of California "Spotlight Student" in October 2011, and graduated from the Medical Billing & Coding Certificate, Program with a 4.0 grade point average, in November 2011. My son, Ryann, was deployed overseas in Iraq and was actually able to return to the states for two weeks in order to attend my graduation! To top things off, I was asked to me the guest student speaker at or ceremony. I was flying high by the time I graduated! 1500 resumes and only one interview later, I found myself frustrated once more. From put of the blue, I received a call from Sandy Riffel, the new CareerSservices Director on the Pomona campus. The funny thing is, Sandy and I have known each other for about 10 years! When I listened to her message which stated "Hey, I.m sitting at my desk and your file was the first one I picked-up!" ... "call Me!" Hmmmm ..., I thought to myself, I sure hope Sandy isn't working at a court house! After returning Sandy's call I found out that she had just received the position at Carrington and she was surprised to see my name on one of her files. Several meetings and resume correction parties later I found myself re-enrolled at Carrington. I am currently taking the Medical Assistant Certificate Program, taught by Mr. Odum, and am enjoying every part of it. I will begin my externship in May 2013. I have set goals to take the RMA test prior to beginning my extern hours. I am going to stay positive and know that I will be employed soon! I plan on beginning my Plus-1 courses immediately after finishing my MA Course. Ultimately, I would love to come back to Carrington to teach. I WILL soar with the eagles thanks to the education and support I have received from Carrington and it's wonderful staff!

Success

by Chloe Salinas - January 11th, 2013
A year after graduating from high school I was really procrastinating about going back to school. I knew for a fact that I wanted to further my education just was not sure where to begin. I did have my eyes on a few other campuses just was scared of actually getting out there and applying. It wasn't until a friend of mine told me about this school that had medical and dental asisting. I was very interested in being a dental assistant for a while now so I went ahead and applied for financial aid, and before you knew it I was a student walking around the campus. the instructors there are amazing.having the hands on training there from your teachers really made my experience there well worth it. You can really tell they love what they are doing and really want to make a difference in others lives. It was a bumpy road at first I'm not gonna lie, but it sure did pay off at the end. I am now proud to say im a Certified Dental Assistant who loves waking up in the morning to helping build up ppl of all ages confidence.

My New Career starts with Carrington College

by Hannah Dolphin - January 2nd, 2013
Just these past few months I went through one set of bad news after the other. In the midst of receiving all this bad news I decided to stop DRIVING BY Carrington College everyday and to STOP BY. I did and I was greeted with smiles and was helped so much. The staff was great and my Admissions advisor did not treat me as a number but as a person. She talked to me as often as I needed. She heard me cry and gave me advice the whole way through. She helped me stay strong and focused. Then I met with the staff over my DA program and they were the same. They check in with me on a regular basis and encourage me to not give up school just because I am going through a tough time. My financial advisor has fought for me and helped to ensure that I did not have to post pone school and that I was able to carry on. I am about to start my second week of school but so far Im in love with the school and am thankful for all the staff.

My experience with Carrington College

by Chelsea X. Charley - January 2nd, 2013
Carrington College has helped me in so many ways but mainly in helping me get back into school to further my education as I have wanted to do for a long time. It has been hard to do due to not being able to pay for tuition and being unemployed made it harder to get money to pay it. I am glad that they told me about some options and one was getting help through my local tribal workforce office. From there, we all worked together to get me into school. The staff is very friendly and willing to help where and when they can to make sure you can reach the goals you set to do. I have been wanting to pursue my goals in furthering my education in the Medical Field and now with the help of Carrington College, I am able to do that.

Carrington campus, Spokane is wonderful. The staff there are so helpful. Always friendly and can answer all of your questions. The other students that you meet are just as friendly and helpful too. I chose Carrington for its Medical Assisting program because of the skill level of the instructors and the need for more Medical Assistants in the current medical field.

Carrington College Helped Make My Dream Come True.

by Donna Shiffer - December 21st, 2012
My first year at Carrington College in Reno was awesome. The teachers are very knowledgeable and helpful. The staff is very friendly and I looked forward to coming to school every day. At the beginning of my second year, my dad became gravely ill. I thought my dream of becoming an RN would be lost. I knew I had to drop some classes so I would have the time I needed to take care of my dad. I did not know if I would have to drop out of the program, if I would be able to restart where I left off, or if I would have to start the program all over. I went to the director of the nursing program at my school, Wendy Merchant, and spoke with her regarding my dilemma. She was so helpful, understanding, and nice. She helped me decide which classes to drop and which class I could stay with to continue in the program. The financial aid person I met with was so wonderful in explaining how this would effect my financial assistance and what I would need to do. So I took only one class that semester and was able to take care of my dad, who recovered. As I finished my schooling at Carrington College in Reno, NV the instructors and other teaching staff would stop me in the halls and ask me how my dad was doing. That really showed the caring attitude Carrington College has for its students. Not only for their academic success but also as people. Thank you Carrington College of Reno!

by Toni D. - December 16th, 2012
The last time I was in school was in 1998, so 12 years later I said to myself I need to get back to doing what I love, what was something in the medical field. I did not know where to go or even what I had to do to get started. I was looking on-line and saw the ad for Carrington and that they offered a Medical Assisting course, so I put my information in and got a call back the same day. Later that week I was meeting with my adviser and got everything taken care of. I am glad that I choose Carrington to get my career started.

Light at the end of the tunnel

by Bailee Bridgman - December 1st, 2012
I have known since I was 9 years old that I wanted to be a nurse. At 9 my youngest brother was born. He spent the first year of his life in and out of the NICU, this is when I decided that I was going to be a nurse. I turned 18 and moved 7 hours away from my tiny town to pursue my nursing degree, but not after promising my younger brother that I would return with my RN degree. After applying to this nursing school at my university 3 times as well as every other nursing school in Washington state to no avail I was at one of my lowest points. My brother had since passed away, and I couldn't seem to quite make the cut for nursing school. Then I saw my first commercial for Carrington. I decided to go online and just look at the school and see what they had to offer. After some deliberation I decided to apply and see where it took me. It was then that I was contacted by Kathryn Sheppard. She helped me with all the documents and admission things that needed to be done, all via email since I was in Washington and she was in Arizona. We arranged for a campus tour and then Kathryn didi something that in 4 years nobody had done. She leaned across her desk, took off her glasses, looked me in the eyes and asked me why I wanted to be a nurse. I was in shock, and it was at this moment that I realized that I finally was where I needed to be. Now after yet another big move away from my family I am successfully in my second semester of nursing school and am loving every minute of it. Carrington college saved me when I felt that there was no hope. Carrington college, and Kathryn Sheppard were my light at the end of the tunnel.

If you are interested in a Medical Profession, I recommend Carrington College. I recently enrolled in Carrington and I like the degree program, the staff is in your corner. They are courteous, very professional and supportive. I have not been enrolled into an educational system that cater your your every need as the Carrington staff has done with me. The school offer a more home setting as if you are part of a family, dedicated to the medical profession. I believe if you want the chance to succeed, Carrington College will be an excellent choice, just bring the attitude to succeed.

Age 51 and starting again.

by Judson Graf - November 21st, 2012
Carrington has helped me by having the course of study that I wanted (Pharmacy Tech). The instructors and staff are all great at what they do. The thought of going back to school has been on my mind for a number of years but was just not able to make it happen, plus the thought of the student loans was enough to make me leery. But with talking with the school, a good friend, the VA and the timing being right I took the plunge. I'm very glad I have, though you have to work hard and eat, sleep and dream on your studies (Yes, I do dream about it at times) I feel it's one of the best ideas I've ever acted on, and I'm so glad I have. Look forward to finishing my course of study. I can not say enough about how all the staff will stop and give you the time to listen, doesn't matter if its personal or school related they are all dedicated to assisting each and every study grow. Thank you Carrington!

I got so sick and tired of working different customer service jobs. They would be fun for a while, then I'd always go home upset because I didn't like the way I was treated due to my occupational status plus I knew I wasn't going anywhere in life. I've always been an animal lover and had quite a variety of pets growing up. Dogs, cats, horses, birds etc. I realized I'd rather be happy working with something I loved than working full time and going home upset and empty handed. This is where Carrington comes in. As soon as I found out Carrington had a veterinary program, I sent my information and was immediately contacted. I set up an appointment and took a tour of the campus. Everyone there is super nice and welcoming. I'm still attending, but I look forward to school almost every day and they teachers are great at keeping me motivated to succeed.

Becoming A Vet Assistance

Before Carrington, I Was A Beauty School Drop out. Not Knowing What I Wanted To Do With My Life. Then I Had A Puppy who was my life. Until He Passed Away from Parvo. The People At Carrington Knew What I Wanted To Be And They Helped Me With The Choice Of Being This! I Got A Year To Go But Im Excited To Be Part Of This School!

I knew I wanted to become a Dental Assistant but I didnt want to take a long time in college. I didnt like the idea of a four year college. When I found out about Carrington I quickly got in touch with an Advisor and signed up. The teachers were ever so helpfull working with me when ever i needed. the scheduale was awesome I didnt have to quit my job to go to school. Within 9 months i got the education I needed and even got hired at my externship site. Glad I chose Carrington and not another school.

Hope

I was beginning to become very discouraged with my chosen career path. I am passionate about learning all that I can and becoming the best nurse that I can become. I also was not thrilled about the prospect of having to wait 2-5 years in limbo while trying to get into a program to peruse my goals. Carrington college has given me the opportunity to continue my education and movement twordsnhimit my goals in a timely fashion. It is a different route then I had originally anticipated, however I am excited and anxious to begin this path which is still going to lead me to the same end as a four year program would have.

I have been able to get as much help as I need. They have many trained indivciduals who can help you without feeling like you wished you never asked for help. When they say to ask for help before it is too late they mean it. Ask for help it is out there!!

I did it!

by Michelle L Hoffman CPC-A - October 28th, 2012
After many starts and stops to get my life on track I finally got an education that is putting me in a profession not just a job. The Medical Billing and Coding program is intense, information packed, and a whole lot of fun. The instructors are incredibily knowledgable and were there for me every step of the way. Anytime I needed extra help trying to understand something there was help for me from any of the instructors and it may not be my instructor. I had not prior knowledge of the medical field or how the insurance billing worked but after 11 months I am walking into a new career with the knowledge and confidence to succeed. Career services is very helpful in making sure you have what you need when you walk into an interview. It was a great experience!

Exceeded my expectations

by ReAnn Martin - October 25th, 2012
I was instantly drawn to this school from the call I made just for information. Each person I spoke with, met with and eventually learned from was polite, professional, and treated me as an individual rather than a number. I am confident in all that I learned and excited to start using it outside of the classroom.

Falling In Love with Teeth

by Teresa Akin - October 18th, 2012
For a long time I was nothing more than a career student, getting bored with career choices in college, and then switching my field of study. But then I went to Carrington, and everything changed for me. My first day on the campus I was in awe of the labs and classrooms, and the level of professionalism of every person in the school, even the maintenance man. And every time I walked by someone they greeted me with a smile, saying, hi, or, how are you, or welcoming me to the campus. My second day at Carrington I completed my financial aid paperwork and was told I was set and ready to start. When I started class I was greatful that there weren't too many people in my class, which made learning much easier. Plus, the students, both young and old, were there to study and learn, not to party and do stupid things. But the best day came when I actually started at Carrington, at least so far... I had my first breakout session for Dental Assisting! That was the day I fell in love with teeth - when they start forming, how they form, what components make up teeth, and so much more. Once I got my book home I couldn't put it down. It was better than reading Yasmine Galenorn or Laurell Hamilton all of a sudden. And here is the kicker, I am now in my fourth week, and I can't wait to finish every other week. I especially can't wait to have the opportunity to sit next to a dentist, helping them fix a person's teeth. My new goal in life? Make sure everyone has an amazing smile, just like all the ones I got when I first started at Carrington. SIgned, Akin

New life

by Kate Powell - October 12th, 2012
I was stuck in a rut not knowing what to do with my life. At one point I knew what I wanted to do but didn't have a way of doing it. Jobs were hard to find and I needed something that was going to make me something. Something that was going to put me in the right direction to do something with my life. I chose Carrington! After a lot if talk with my family and herring their pros and cons I made a choice. That choice was to put all my fear aside and be a great mom and wife! Even thought I knew there would be hard times I pushed through. The staff and students were amazing! I couldn't have asked for better instructors! I made life long friends while there and that was never planned. I never thought I would love school again but I did. I was now out of the rut I had gotten myself into so long ago and on to bigger and better things! Thanks Carrington!

I enjoy my instructor and the online course process. I can make my own hours and rarely feel stressed while completeing my work. I could not be happier with the discission I made to become a student of Carrington College receiving my Associates of Science in Renewable Energy. Thank you Carrington!

Going back to school

by Dana Stratton - October 9th, 2012
I have been working in the medical field for over 20 years; but without having a degree or certificate, I have always felt I was missing something. I had been wanting to go back to school but the time never seemed right as I'm a single mother and I wasn't sure how I would fit that into my schedule. A few months ago I visited a few colleges; one being Carrington. After meeting with my enrollment services representative and taking a tour of the campus I knew that this is the place I needed to be. I'm now in my 3rd week of the Medical Assisting program and know without a doubt that this is one of the best decisions I have ever made. I'm able to go to school in the evening and care for my son during the day. The instructors are incredible and such a wealth of knowledge. I know that Carrington will provide me with the knowledge and skills to be successful in this field. I'm very thankful for this opportunity!

They helped me understand what I really want for myself and they let me think on it not like the other schools that just wanted me to come to their school and did not really say what do u really want for yourself and that's what carrington gave to me and they just made me feel at home and comfortable so I love where I am and learning things every day!!!

I got laid off from a job that I have had for 11+years in electronic, was retirement age and needed something new to support myself. I decided on a career in Medical Assisting.

My new career as a Medical Assistant!

by Lora Baldridge - September 29th, 2012
Carrington was the best decision I could of made in a school. After recently getting my GED and graduating in November 2011 I knew I wanted more and didn't want to stop there, I always had a dream to go into the Medical Field but always held myself back due to fear of failing. That fear was gone now and I was ready so I chose Carrington. It's fast paced program was a very good fit for me! I enrolled in December 2011. Started my first day in January, at first I was nervous that I maybe I wouldn't be able to handle it, but as my first grades started coming in I saw that I was an "A" student in Lab and Lecture, by the time by first Mod was over I saw that my GPA was 4.0, I was amazed and felt that I was in the right place. Through out the rest of the program I was able to hold a steady 4.0 GPA , made the Dean's List 5 times, and the President's List. I started my externship in August and was ready to put to use what I had learned and practiced in the classroom so many times. Carrington prepared me for almost everything I could encounter out there in the real world, the teachers; Ms. Baltodano, Ms. Sterling , and Ms. Jenkins, and Ms. Arnold were the best and helped me to become the best I could be! I am happy to say that I recently got hired at my Externsite as a Medical Assistant! I can't believe how far I have come in less than one year! Thank You Carrington College - San Leandro Campus!!

I owe a lot to carrington for helping me through rough times and helping me know what I want to do with my life.

Kirstyns journey

by Kirstyn Michelle Clairmont - September 27th, 2012
Well I had all my instructors 100% behind me, every step of the way. They pushed me to become the technologist that I am now:) I recently graduated from the radiology program and I have 2 jobs. If it wasn't for this college and the help from the staff and my professors I wouldn't be here right now:). I rated the school an 8 for 1 reason. During my clinicals I was struggling and needed help, but yet when I needed it most the only person that was there to help was Michael Barnett the student advocate. But what I really needed was an out and no one would help me. Which was very frustrating. I wanted to give up but kept pushing through it. Everyday was a struggle, but then 6 months in the my site things turned around and i guess I would say that I'm glad no one helped me. But it was a rough road for a long time. I resented this college for a long time, during the whole fight but now I would say I'm graduated and now only owe them money haha a whole lot of it. So glad I am graduated and finally getting paid. Thank you to all the college professors. Ben, mike, Andy, mandee, Michael b and Mitch. I couldn't have done it without u guys. P.s. sorry I hugged u at graduation Ben haha talk about an awkward moment :)

Attending Carrington College

I have also wanted to work with animals ever since I was little, thus already having a n idea of my major from the beginning. Carrington has helped me by focusing on the subjects that are needed for a vet tech. It is time consuming and also prepared me for a real job by sending me to clinics and helping them out. They also helped me with my job profile with experience of hands-on of working with the animals.

It help because Carrington took their time to go to Edison High School and talk about Carrington College. I was one of those person who would not listen when we had college people walking in I would not listen because it would not call my attention. But once staffs from Carrington walked in talking about medical career I was happy to hear about this I want to do that's how I sign in for Carrington College I would hear other colleges about medical career but I would not listen to any other colleges because Carrington was and is the school I want to keep going. Also Chistina N. staff of Carrington help me a lot too it was nice from her to let me know what they have in school. Also I like the way she would take her time to call me to set up an appointment. I also want to thanks the teachers because they would take their time to help me understand things I would be a little confuse about and career services for helping me on interviews and looking for jobs. They always keep in contact with you to make sure your doing okay. Thanks Carrington College for all your help I'm pretty sure I'll be back for another career. Thanks,

Life Changing

by Jasmine Vega - September 20th, 2012
When I graduated high school it was already expected to go to college and graduate. I wanted to go to college but not a University. So, I went to Pima for a couple of years. I liked being able to build my own schedule and choose my own courses but the pase of classes was too long for me. I love to learn and learn anything and everything and going to Pima was too slow pase for me. Now being at Carrington College I love the class sizes and the fast pase courses. It was not my first choice but the end result is me graduating and having a career. I love that I made the choice to come to this school. Carrington has helped me in more than just education. The Aspire program helped me get through some finacial problems as well as coping with a close friend's death. Life happens and me being at Carrington College with my classmates and instructor has helped me stay on track and get through life. I am definitely blessed that I decided to come to this college

Career Change

by Ryan Aiazzi - September 18th, 2012
Six months ago my wife gave birth to our son, Connor, who had to spend his first night in the NICU. Throughout our entire hospital stay the staff was amazing, but it was the nurses that really stood out in terms of care and compassion. The nurses were not just there to tend to our medical needs; they also provided assistance and answered our "new parent" questions throughout our entire stay. If it was 2 am, and we needed help, a nurse was there to ensure that our needs were met. After this experience, I became deeply motivated to change careers to a field where I was able to impact other peoples’ lives in the way that the nurses had impacted ours. After researching many local nursing schools I applied at Carrington. Six months later I am on my way to a fantastic education and a fulfilling career!

My carrington experience

by Ericka Seechoma - September 15th, 2012
Carrington College has helped me in many ways. I was at a dead end basically, having difficulty finding a job in today's economy. Having three children receiving government assistance was just not cutting it for me, i wanted more for my life. I wanted to have my kids grow up and be proud of their mother, knowing I did it all on my own. So one day I was searching online thinking about going back to school and came across Carrington College. I saw that they had a pharmacy technician program and I thought, why not just do it. So i filled out an information form and in a matter of two minutes I received a phone call from a Carrington representative. I was impressed and set up an interview with an admissions rep the same day. I was enrolled and started school a couple weeks later. Here I am today finished school, getting ready to start my career at the same company i did my externship with. Carrington's instructors gave me the knowledge i needed to become a successful technician, being highly recommended to the company I am with today. I couldn't have asked for more in a school. I am very satisfied with my experience attending Carrington College.

Following my dreams

by Jan Drake - September 11th, 2012
Carrington has helped me follow my dream of becoming a nurse. With Carringtons fastrack schedual it fit so perfectly for me and what I was looking for. I was able to get right into the nursing classes without having to take all the needless prerequesist classes that don't pertain to nursing. I could consentrate and study what feild I was going into. I plan to go on to becoming a registered nurse here at Carrington. Thanky you for the great experience!

My dream

by Toni Johnson - September 8th, 2012
Without Carrington college I would not have been able to follow my dream. I had applied to several other programs but just couldn't test high enough. they were only accepting 10-15 people in the program. Then I heard about Carrington, What a godsend this is. A career college where a middle aged person can achieve her dream. The instructors are very knowledgeable about the subjects, the policies are fair and enforced and because of carrington college I am now an RN. Thank you I couldn't have done it without you. Dr. Harradine, Ms. Gaipl you both are my mentors and i will be forever grateful to both of you.

Finally reached my goal...

by Becky Leonard - September 6th, 2012
I have wanted to be a Dental Hygienist for 20 years! As we all know life takes all kinds of interesting paths and sometimes they are not the ones we had planned for ourselves. I am a single mom of two teenage boys and had been taking pre-req's for hygiene at night after my full time job. I had applied for three years to other schools as was never accepted. I decided that third year that maybe it wasn't meant to be because I had given this dream everything I had in me. Carrington College was my life raft...they accepting me into their Hygiene Program. I could not have asked for a better lesson to show my young men what true hard work and perseverence looks like and that no matter what your dream may be there is always a way as long as you never give up.

My story

Intially, I was abit intimidated by the whole idea of me going back to school at my age. The help I recieved from the admissions staff gave me the confidence to enroll in my program. My instructors were informed in the requirements of my profession, the classroom setting was comfortable and provided an invironment in which I felt supported my objective to succeed in the work place. I feel that my education at carrington was a blessing for me. Even a person my age can achieve the goals to be sucessful .

What would i have done without Carrington College?

by Gladys - June 5th, 2012
Carrington has helped me in every way,,,,,to achieving a goal of getting a career....... to helping others. I really dont know what i would have done without the advisors from carrington, there really were the ones that inspired me. Also, Ms Yang was such a pleasure teacher to have. I have to say out of the 12 years i was in school (k-12), this teacher really knew what she was talking about. I loved the way she thought if anything, ill definetly like to teach in the feature just like Ms. Yang she truely was worth my while. Right noiw im working a detention center and contracted by ICE and well lets just say i dont regret one bit about Carrington, I really hope it inspires somebody to make the right choice and get the best expirience&,help rom the best teachers with great knowledge like i did.

Non-traditional all the way

by Stephen G. Carrick - May 1st, 2012
I am a non-traditional student (older than most students in rad tech programs) and have had a very rewarding experience in the Carrington College program. The format and curriculum that the school offers is of high standards, and is very effective in teaching the fundamentals of medical radiography. Most of my educators in this field were very competent and very informative. I would highly recommend this program to anyone interested in entering into the medical radiography field.

Change of life

by Tamera Veley - April 25th, 2012
I first attended Carrington in 1986 and studied in the Dental Assisting program. I was offered a position with a local oral surgeon as an oral surgery assistant immediately after graduation. In 1990 I married and went to work for my husband who owned a construction company. In 2008 I went through a hard divorce but decided to go back to college and do something I truly was passionate about.....working with pets!. At 47 years of age I graduated with honors from the Veterinary Assisting Program at Carrington College and was offered the very first job I applied for. After almost 2 years I am still employed with the same local Veterinary Clinic and truly love my position. Thank you so very much for being the reason I have always had a great job! The veterinary assisting program was fabulous!. I use the knowledge and skills I was taught on a daily basis in my position and must compliment all the wonderful instructors for the great job they all did in preparing me for my new carreer position.

Veterinary Tech graduate 2008

by Carly Lasher Ahlstrom - April 24th, 2012
I was hesitant going back to school at 25, but Carrington helped me get my life on the right track and made my future brighter. Carrington College helped me to get my dream job as a Veterinary Tech. The classrooms were small and the teachers had a lot of one on one time with each person. I loved that I could ask questions when I needed help. The instructors were great! I now have the career I wanted and I have been working in the veterinary field for 3 years now!

Dream Come True

by Melissa Ortega - April 18th, 2012
i wanted to become a Medical Assistant ever since my mom was diagnosed with type two diabetes when i was 8 years old. Ever since then i knew that once i graduated high school i would go straight into college and do my best to provide for my family and myself. I was surrounded by great peers and excellent teachers! Ms. Dong was my instructor at Carrington and i loved how she taught me everything i know now, and i greatly appreciate all her help because she prepared me from day one, and now i work at a doctors office and i am accomplishing my goal in life. Ms. Dong would share her personal experiences working in the medical field which helped a lot in visualizing what there is to come in the future. Carrington is a great school, and i would recommend it to anyone who wants a great learning experience from this school with the great staff and students involved. I wouldn't be were i am today without the help of Ms. Dong, my classmates, Family and friends support. Just remember "YOU CAN DO IT!"

Formerly Apollo College Student!

by JoAnna Conley - April 18th, 2012
Being at (Apollo College) in 2003 was a Great Experience for me. I learned about a profession that would afford me the opportunity to help people recover! The classes at (Apollo) were always interesting and interactive. The experiences I had at (Apollo) will never be forgotten. If i could do it all over again I would still choose (Apollo College) Carrington College because they have the best Teacher(s) I have ever had the opportunity of knowing and being instructed by. I would recommend Carrington College to ANYONE who asked me. And I would recommend Carrington because the teachers care about their students!

Thank You Western Career College of Sacramento

by Raul Roy M. Cervantes RN:DNS - April 17th, 2012
I live in Antioch, CA when I was accepted for ASN program in 2007 and I was also enrolled in BSN in Dominican University of California on my Junior year. That same year Medsurg/ Critical Care Course andProfessional Nursing Synthesis was moved to the Senior year in which were offerred in the Junior year those time. My motivation was to apply and challenge the RN Nclex entering as Associate Level and I wanted to advance from being an LVN. Western Career College of Sacramento ( Terrie Gesulga RN: BSN:MSN/PNF and Seaneen Noonan RN:BSN:MSN) really looked at my credentials in depth and did not doubt on it. Now I can legitemately say that the Western Career College of Sacramento produced a Successful Director of Nursing Services gainfully employed by Kindred Healthcare Inc. at Kindred Nursing and Rehab of Ygnacio Valley of Walnut Creek, CA. New Career!

by Danielle Crossley - April 17th, 2012
I came to Carrington to learn how to maintain a side career so I'm able to support myself while I go back to University of the Pacific to finish my Bachelor's degree. I originally came because my mom works at the Stockton campus and encouraged me to give Massage Therapy a try while I was off from UoP, and I'm glad I took her advice and did the program. Now I have a career as well as skills that I can use further when I get my Athletic Training Degree.

Best College Experience EVER!

by Lindsey T. - April 15th, 2012
From the first time I stepped foot in Carrinton College Reno I knew this was where I belonged. The staff was extremely helpful and kind. When I began my classes the instructors were avalable to help me anytime day or night. Most colleges you would need to wait, but not here! This is by far the best college experience I have ever had. The friendships you make with fellow classmates will last a lifetime. You are with these people for a long time, and going through a rough transition makes for an amazing life experience you can share. I love Carrington College and would recommend it to anyone looking for an amazing college.

Carrington College and Me.

Going to Carrington college was a wonderful experience for me. Everyone, from the Administrators to the Instructors to the other students themselves, were very supportive and helpful. I will look back on my short time there with a huge smile on my face. Thank you Carrington College for an experience I will treasure for the remainder of my life.

Carrington College has completely changed my life!!! I am a single mom with 2 little girls and one more chile on the way and have always struggled to find a "job" that I truly enjoy. After completing my Medical Assistant Program at Carrington I found a job as a back office Medical Assistant and now I actually have a real "career." I love my job and learn more and more each day. The people I work with are great and it is a gratifying experience to know that what I do for people can actually make a difference in their lifes. I know that I made the right decision by choosing to attend Carrington College

I can do better!

I've always been interested in the medical field and Carrington was my key to success. I was the first out of all my friends and my mothers four kids to graduate high school and now the first to graduate college. My teachers were amazing and always kept me on my toes. They encouraged me and made me get the education I was paying for. The whole campus was nothing but a welcoming comity.

I finally did it!

by Renee Pierson - April 13th, 2012
I was 44 when I came to Carrington. I had started the MA program at Appollo in 1986 and then was unable to finish due to a car accident. I came back 24 years later and I finished it. I did it so I could show my children that any one can do anything with hard work and dedication. I am so happy I did!

When you have a teacher that really gets you through the rough spots. I am so lucky to have had such a good teacher (Crystal Gaunt). She inspired me, made the lessons fun, and kept me plugging away at all the work. Don't get discouraged, don't give up, and keep your thinking positive. Thank you Mrs. Gaunt! Because of you, I know one day my dream job will come!

Almost instant gratification

by shona busch - April 12th, 2012
I had not attended school in 20 years and the curriculum coupled with the small class size made it easy for me to get right up to speed. My Pharmacy professor, Mr. Murray, took the extra time and had the patience to make my learning curve steep and accurate. I was able to maintain a 4.0 with relative ease, even in Math. That is a huge accomplishment! I got a job straight out of school and I am still in my chosen profession to this day.

Down & out of a job

by Robby Bell - April 12th, 2012
I was 52 years old when the company I worked for closed It"s doors after 35 years of service, I didn't know what I was going to do I only knew how to do I thing and that was making aluminum. I looked for 4 months for any kind of work that I could do (2006) there was nothing and I was scared of not finding anything that I could do, so I went to then Apollo college and signed up for the pharmacy tech program my instructor was Jennifer Matson and she was a good one, I finish with a 3.61 grade average and now I work at Skyline Hospital for the past 4 1/2 years as a lead tech making top wage, thanks you Guys & Gals for everything.. P.S there is more to the story but that's all the time I have. Robby Bell (2006-2007)

IT'S NEVER TOO LATE

by Debra Boam - April 12th, 2012
After turning 40 I thought another attempt at school was far from reach. But, one day (I'm not even sure why I called) I contacted Carrington College California. I spoke to Shannon in Admissions and set up an appointment. After our meeting, I was very confident that I could begin an education and work toward a new career; a career that would allow me to support my daughter and myself. CCC helped me obtain grants and student loans (otherwise I could not have attended). Once I started classes, my life changed. I became that 'dedicated, hardworking student' that I used to be. Earning a 4.0 each semester was my greatest achievement in years. I cannot thank my instructors, the admissions staff and my fellow students enough for all of the support and encouragement I received while attending CCC and still receive even today.

Carrington College changed my life!

by Rachele Hodgkins - April 12th, 2012
Going to school for Medical Assisting changed my life in more than one way. Attending classes not only gave me pride in myself but confidence that I can do anything I put my mind to. I absolutely loved my teacher and really enjoyed the hands on learning experience. Although I was unable to find a job right away, I use my knowledge every day in my Caregiving job to help better my Resident's lives.

How it started

by Michelle Lioliadis - April 11th, 2012
I started going to Carrington when I decided to go back to school due to the company I was working for cutting back on management positions drastically. As the company started going downhill I knew it was time to start thinking about a career in a field that would never go away. Carrington was a wonderful choice.

I went to DVC for a semester & i found it to be very difficult for me to learn anything because of the high volume of students there & the low amount of help that was present at the time, but when i came to carrington i got all the help I needed if not more. The teachers are awesome & the carreer counselors really help you with finding a job.

Carrington College. Good place to become all you want to be in medical field

by John Buttram - April 11th, 2012
For the most part I enjoyed Carrington College and the time I spent there last year. I was in the Physical Therapy Technician program. The instructors were very good and knowledgeable on the cirriculum. The cirriculim itself was fast paced and challanging. I felt the variety of subjects learned were not just limited to learning in my case how to become a Physical Therapy Technician but included everything from writing resumes,to baasically career development in starting your own buisness, and what it would take to do so. Learning to become a personal trainer was also included. The administration personnel were excellent. Julie helped me to get my post 9/11 bill from the government when I had trouble in doing so for the first 3 months of class. Without it I could not have attended Carrington. Marta worked hard at getiing me my externship site and followed the progress. I at this time and am still not working in the field, but I am also looking for part time work as opposed to full time. I think they will find me somewhere to apply. I just have to do it. Thank you to all

I graduated from Carrington College in 2007 as a Medical Assistant. I worked for Dr Patrick J DiFonzo for about 3 1/2 years as a Medical Assistant/Assistant Office Manager, where I decided to return to Carrington and get my associates in the MOM program. I now run the front office for AZ Pain Centers here in Tucson. I love my job. I check patients in and out answer questions for them and help in the back. AZ Pain Center is kind of like an ambulatory surgical office, we perform Facets and Epidurals here for patient who are in pain and need relief. It feels good helping those who have tred everything else to relive the pain and nothing has worked.

I had a wonderful instructor Mrs. Aimi. She pushed me through till I succeed and got right and she gives students a praise everytime it was successful which was helpful cause it made you proud knowing you did it. guidence, caring, and helpful words and phrases is what got me through. Mrs. weaver and Mrs. Wilson were also a big help with there guidence, caring, and helpful words is also what helped me through the program. My Career Choice at Carrington College

by Melanie J. Silkett - April 11th, 2012
Carrington helped me successed in what I went to school for. I want to help others with what I learned at Carrington. The instructors there helped me when I needed it. Not very often you see that in schools. I would recommend Carrington College to anyone that is looking for a better career. I never thought it would be possible to graduate from college. Now I can put to use what I learned into practice.

My husband and I both attended Carrington College at the same time for the Medical Assisting program and graduated in 2001. WE both went to work as an MA. I ended up coming back to teach at Carrington College and then went into the Career Services Department, where I placed our students on their externship and then helped them get jobs after they graduated. I am a proud graduate of Carrington College and I can honestly say that I am a success story. Thank you so much!

Graduated January 21st 2010 and the rest is history. I was frustrated in California, completed 2 yrs of prerequisite in community colleges and could not get in to any LVN -RN program. I had worked as LVN for 25 yrs. I stumbled into Apollo college live talk on the internet and the person I communicated with explained ti detail that the program was in Boise Idaho, he thought I will not be interested. I took all the info and followed up. 3 weeks laterI drove to Boise and started . I left my job,my husband and family flew back and forth to Calfornia every other week.. I rented a room from another student for $325 a month. I graduated,jan21, 2010. I took my boards exam Feb 25 and passed, and I started Chamberlain College March 3rd 2010 and graduted with my BSN June 25 2011. With the help of the Carrington College nursing instructors, I started BSN- Doctor of Nursing Practice in January 2012. I hope to have my doctorate completed in 2014.

I attended Carrington College from Feb 2009-Jan 2010 in their RN Bridge program. I commuted 3 hours a day from Ontario, Oregon to Boise, Idaho for this opportunity. I was a single mother of a 5 year old and a 9 month old. I went back to school so I could provide better for my kids. I wanted to be a role model they looked up to and would be proud of. I am currently attending Chamberlain College of Nursing and will have my Bachelor's of Nursing in Mar 2013.

After undergoing spinal surgery, I had to find a new vocation. I attended a tour of Carrington College where I was able to meet with the staff and instructors. After attending the Veterinary Program and maintaining a GPA of 4.0 throughout, I have graduated and I am currently employed at a local Spay Neuter Clinic. My instructor had taken the initiative and recommended me to the doctor in charge there. I now have a new career in which I love to do.

Medial Assistant/Graduated in 2004 when it was Apollo.

by Dawn - April 10th, 2012
It gave me info for taking care of myself as I had a back injury and then Dx. with Addison's disease. The medical knowledge is invaluable and hope to someday return and finish my RN degree. The time I worked as a MA was with a Mayo Internal Med. Dr. and I learned so much from that as well as the education received there. I was a 3.93 graduate. I loved it and it has helped me diagnose my own health issues. so all I have to say is I had a wonderful experience and hope to return to complete the RN program. Any young or older person will benefit from the knowledge for themselves and family as well as treating the public being employed as a trained Medical Professional. Many thanks to my teachers and staff.

It changed my life!

I feel as if I've made some life long friends, not only with my classmates, but with my teacher and the staff as well. It's a very helpful and loving environment which has definitely helped shape me into the person I am today. They gave me the tools I needed to mature and to grow in my chosen career field and I couldn't be more thankful. I am now a Massage Therapist working toward my national certification, and thanks to Career Services, I had a job two weeks before I actually finished my classes. Thank you all again for everything.

Life changing

by Liliana Marquez. - April 10th, 2012
It might sound cliche but the teachers were helpful and they help you in any way possible. The teachers there help you understand the term and if don't they will stay with you until you do, which is nice because you are not there alone.

My personal opinion.

by Justin McDivitt - April 10th, 2012
The staff are extremly helpful and understanding. The thing that has helped me personally the most is my instructor, Linda Bingham. Her skills as a teacher are unrivaled when compared to all my teachers of past. She has truly made my learning expierence here challenging but not beyond comprehension, which in turn has made it an all around enjoyable expierence.

A new beginning

by Jody Pace - April 10th, 2012
I was laid off from my Health Insurance job in December of 2010. I have always been interested in the Veterinary field but it just never seemed to be the right time to make the switch. I decided that this was finally the right time. My son was grown and I was unhappy in my career. My instructor at Carrigton made sure I had the hands on skills to start out as a Veterinary Assistant. I took a significant pay cut to work in a field I knew I would love. Now when I go to work I have a sense of accomplishment. I truly enjoy what I do now. You have to love this job because as my instructor said " you won't get rich in this field." In a way though, I feel richer than ever. I'm happy in my career for the first time in my life.

not done yet!

by Cary James - April 10th, 2012
The campus at Boise is awesome, great staff ever so friendly and helpful with anything you need, and once I decided to return it didn't take long for the financial aid counselor to get things going, I am an Alumni so returning wasn't so scary this time, and I am adding to my AS degree already, I am a CMT and returning for the HCA will just add to my already great career. I love Carrington College.

Made my world better

by Sarah Lozano - April 10th, 2012
Going to carrington college let me fulfill a promise I made to my mother to further my education. My mom passed away in late 2009 and I started school in mid 2010. I pushed myself throughout the 8 months and was able to graduate on the deans list, as a student mentor and with a 4.0 gpa. After graduation the career service personel were able to find me a job working at a Chiropractor office doing massage therapy. Going to work everyday makes me happy to know the job I do helps so many people feel better.I know I've made my mother proud and I've made myself happy with this wonderful career I got out of going to Carrington College.

A Second Start at College

by Kelly Sarvey - April 10th, 2012
I started college right out of high school at University of the Pacific as a Biochemistry major. After my first year, my family could no longer afford to pay the steep tuition for me to get a degree that I may not be able to get a job with. I decided to attend Carrington College California for Veterinary Technology. Since then I have completed half of my program and love every minute of it. The program, teachers, and education are all amazing. When I graduate in another year, I will have a degree and the skills I need to get a job. Carrington has been an amazing experience thus far and I imagine it will only get better from here.

Right out of my extern ship I got hired on so take a chance!

From Gas attendant to Licenced Practical nurse in one phone call

by Toni Johnson - April 10th, 2012
The instructors are very helpful and patient with people who are not "just out of school" the tutoring that is available is more than most colleges provide. It has helped my self esteem knowing that most graduates from Carrington are very well accepted in employment and that the nursing program is bar none one of the best around. Because I am a carrington graduate I have been held to a higher standard and that has helped me move on in my career choice. Thank you carrington your programs are by far the best in the area.

I really like Carrington college since they are hands on and that helped me learn better then just being taught from out of a book.

Everything and everyone was a help in my success of Graduating from Carrington's LVN program.. The only thing that was hard to adapt to was the schedules other then that the curriculum was excellent and the Instructors gave it there all and showed interest in our studies and helped us thru or problems. I recommend Carrington all the time...

Pappa Smurf

by Tom Erhardt - April 10th, 2012
I graduated at 65 years old and went to work at the Phoenix VA Hospital clinics. That was a very rewarding experience for me. The instructors I had at the colledge (at that time called Apollo College) were excellent they taught what we needed to know and went beyond explaining a great deal in detail that made it easier to understand. I gave the speach at the graduation which made me feel very proud and I pointed out to the graduation class how important it was to thank their families and the staff at the college for the sacrifices made so they could attend school and then begin a carreer. It was an oppurtunity for me to expand my horizens, to do something I had always wanted to do. I truly think it is an experience every young or elderly person should try.

Dedication to Students Success

by Ronda Gray - April 10th, 2012
I started in the Massage Therapy Program when I lost my full time job in 2010. I completed the program after a short year. My intructors in that program were great, I was mentored by the programs director, Gilbert Rivera, in the Albuquerque campus and a another instructor who has moved on since my graduation. Though all of the instructors I met or were taught by, are excellent, there are always a few who will remember everyone in class even after it's over. A few months after graduating the Massage Program, I recieved a phone call from my original Carrington Administrator, Rose Shepherd, who asked me if I would be interested in finishing my two years in the Medical Office Managagement Program, I said yes without really thinking it over because this would be earning an AS degree and I was very happy she called me. That was last summer, currently I'm nearly finished with the Program; I have just started my final 3 credit course to graduate, and will be done in about 8 weeks post this letter. Another one of my Inspirational instructors in the MOM program who was instrumental to us as students is Lee Moore out of the Phoenix campus, and is the online instructor for many classes in the MOM Program. He is another ever encouraging instructors, one you could always hear an answer from in a timely manner. For an online instructor, this was paramout; while I appreaciated being able to raise my hand and having my question immeciatly answered in Massage, an online student would have to send an email or possibly catch/miss the instructor in a phone call, it can be very frustrating. The dedication to the students during and post enrollment- success with Carrington Program instructors is what what I liked most about the college, asside from my former program administrator calling me about the program I'll be graduating from soon, because she remembered me and of course the career services department, whom I will be speaking with again soon. I'm actually sad to see my time at Carrington end, I am inspired by my experiences here to continue my eductation in an graduate study program, most likely online. Thank you Carrington!

Better future

by Katharine "Kitty" Marsh - April 10th, 2012
The school took the time to sit down and listen to my goals, listen to my dreams. I simply told them, where I was coming from, and felt it was time to make a change with my life. Follow my dreams, follow my goals. If family , friends and people don't like it. I'll have a few unkind words for them. Why? I decided to put my dreams and goals as top priority. I may be alot older than some of the other students. That wasn't the issue. Carrington College California saw the determination and drive, I have to better myself. The whole entire staff at the school, made it possible to acheive this wonderful education. The smaller classes are even wonderful. Even the instructors in the tutoring center are wonderful. Always there, ready to help, so you can succeed.

Clueless Medical Career

by Gianna G. Zepeda - April 10th, 2012
I had been basically doing nothing for 11/2 years so my mom told me I should try looking into medical assisting. I was totally doubtful since it takes a mild hint of crazy to want to poke people with needles for the rest of your life but I decided to check it out anyway. I toured at a couple schools and found one I really liked. Unfortunately it was pretty far away so I kept looking. Then I found Carrington and, I have to say, it totally blew the other school away. Smaller classrooms, high tech practice rooms, great people in admissions, and to top it all off, it was much closer to me. It got off to a rocky start since my first teacher left after the first term and then my second teacher was only a fill in until my permanent teacher came along. Once he finally came along though I felt like I was really learning. Mr. Odum (aka Mr. PO) was possibly the best teacher I've ever had. He's really informative but he'll tell you something in a way that will help you understand better. Basically he speaks English til you understand the medical jargon. Plus he's not the stuffy teacher that doesn't ever let you joke around. Just as long as you don't go too far. I honestly believe that the reason I got on the honor roll three terms in a row was because he was my teacher. Now I've finished my externship that was at a great site and they're looking for open positions for me within the company. I feel really good about where I'm at and I want to keep moving up. I finally found my career. Funny thing is, I thought I would never want to be in the medical field. Then I started thinking about all the things I wanted to be when I was little and realized they were all somewhere in the medical field. Go figure. I can be completely clueless sometimes.

Wife, Mother, Student

by Cristina Garcia - April 10th, 2012
Going back to college was nerve wrecking. Only because I was 28 years old, married with two kids. I thought to myself, "Is this what I really want? Is this what I CAN do??" well, the thought of bettering my education never left my mind, Its something that I wanted to do for a while, something that I though and I KNOW will not only better my education but better for my future.. but its not just my future, its my families future. After my last job, I thought to myself.. "you know what, Im going to do it. No more jobs without careers, no more "where will I be a month from now".. From the start everyone has been very nice to me.. from the first meeting all the way up to my instructor. Everyone treats you like your the only student in the sense where they make you feel like YOU matter. And that alone gets you motivated to learn and get out there and start your career. Im now in my third module, and I have never been as excited to go to school. My instructor is great, I feel like I learn so much in just one day! I come home and Im excited to do my homework, heck! even my five year old sits with me and pretends she is doing homework as well! lol As soon as I walk in the door she greats me with "mommy, how was school? was it awesome??" and I reply with "yes, babe..it sure was awesome"...and I mean it!! (:

My expierence was awesome. The teachers are intelligent, easy to approach and were organized. My time there was the best time of my life. Not only did I become a nurse by the materials but also by their expierences they've shared. The enviornment is nurturing and personable. The teachers actually cared, would stay on their own time to answer questions or concerns, even identified learning styles to help your sucess. I attend 2007-2010 VN and VND. In the field I feel prepared and that I am a competent nurse from the education I recieved here. It has changed my life by giving me opportunitities I wouldnt of had. I am a single mother of two in whom I soley support. Becoming a professional was a life long dream and Carrington College helped me achieve it !I give my full endorsement and believe in all the good things this college is providing.

New Life New Job

by Wen Yu - March 30th, 2012
In 2010 summer, I moved from NJ to Spokane, WA and wanted to take pharmacy tech programs. I registered at one local community college. They said I was on the waiting list to the next year program or the next next year's. Carrington College Representative sent me a postcard on the end of the year. It changed me all. I attended pharmacy technology programs in 2011. I learned not only professional knowledge and skills but also interview tips, resume organization and cover letter writing. I made good friends in school and enjoyed my campus time. In December , I finished all training and passed the national examination. School career adviser started posting my resume and e-mailed me the position openings until I got my job. From I got my State License to got a full-time job, it took me 3 months. I applied a lot of different type of pharmacy, most of them asked for at least one year experience or complete training programs. Thanks Carrington College gave me complete training programs. Each lesson is useful, every assignment is necessary. When I was looking for a job, I knew how skillful I am.

My Journey to Carrington

by Justine Phulps - March 25th, 2012
I wasn't sure what I wanted to do with my life and what route I wanted to go. I'd been going to a community college for three years and felt like the end wasn't anywhere in sight. I'd considered going to Carrington for a while but was always discouraged by the cost. Finally, I made the call and spoke to an awesome representative who gave me a tour of the school, and helped me to enroll. Since starting at Carrington College California, I've made some great friends and I actually wake up every morning excited to go to school. I've learned so much in the two months that I've been here.

Carrington college has helped me become more professional. I know apperance means everything and it helps the schools name when other people see how respectable and professional we are. I have the morning class and im not a morning person but once it became routine Ive been getting up early in the morning rather than sleeping in. Carrington is a wonderful and friendly place all they want from the students is their hard work and committment.

Luck Must Have Been On My Side.

by Marie - March 21st, 2012
Carrington has done everything and more to suit my needs a private college. I've been wanting to become a Registered Veterinary Technician for years. But when the economy took a bad turn, I had a very difficult time finding an institution that could take me in. Most of the vocational schools I looked into were on the opposite side of the state, and community colleges were out of the question (with everyone suddenly going back to get a degree). I had just had two children and felt like the time to pursue my career was drifting further and further away. I searched high and low for a school to meet my needs. When finally, a friend told me that a school I had already looked at (Western Career College) had actually changed their name to Carrington College. I looked them up right away and found that they had just built a campus within driving distance! I called immediately and the rest is history. Now I am in my second out of five terms, with exceptional grades, and even the head of my class' Student Advisory. To this day, I still cannot find one thing wrong with the curriculum or the staff that has brought me to this point. The equipment is up to par on the latest technology, the assignments are educational and informative, and the teachers are always available when needed. I drive an hour and a half away from home four days a week to be here at this school because I will do anything to get my degree. I am so thankful that a campus has finally been established in southern California. I can honestly say, I don't know where I would be today without it.

Making my dream come true

by Stephanie - March 20th, 2012
What I wanted most was to get my degree on a campus where I could have a hands-on approach. "Experience in the field," if you will. Carrington College gave me just that, plus I get my degree in 14 months. It was definitely the perfect match for me. I have never liked coming to school before I came here; in fact, I hardly went to school at all. I am excited to come to school now because it's what I want to learn. The administration at my campus have been extremely helpful every step of the way.

My Choice is Carrington

by Rachelle T. - March 20th, 2012
I loved my career in education but something in it was lacking. I was yearning for something more challenging, a profession where I could make a bigger impact in the lives of others. I wanted something exciting, fast-paced, and highly satisfying. That's when I chose Carrington College as my school for Respiratory Care. I have dedicated teachers who are passionate about patient care, and a group of supportive peers who have become much like my surrogate family. Carrington College provides everything you need to succeed in the profession of your choice, and they always have their doors open ready to listen to the needs of each student.

Best choice I ever made

by Dave - March 20th, 2012
It is the best school i have ever gone to, and the staff really went above and beyond to make sure I never fell too far behind no matter how crazy my circumstances were. I am really happy with my chosen field of massage therapy, and learned life changing knowledge from my teachers. I really appreciate the fact that the school stuck behind me when everything wasn't going too well, and still believed in my ability to be a good massage therapist. I just want to thank everyone that had my back on this journey, and just believe I am beyond grateful for your help. Thank you for helping me achieve a huge goal in my life . It is one thing to believe in yourself, but it really means alot when you have an established institution that does also. From being homeless, blown tires, sabotages by bitter people and everything in between you had my back. Thank you.

by Anthony Borelli - March 20th, 2012
I was stuck at Delta College in Stockton when I decided to give Carrington a try. The first time I stepped into the building, I felt comfortable. Everyone that works there seems like they care about your future, even if they are not involved with your program. As I progressed through my program, I gained confidence that I never knew I had. The staff at CCC Stockton are definitely the best combination of people to have in a learning environment. They treated everyone like adults and always have a minute to spare if you need to talk,

The staff have all been very knowledgeable and helpful. The career councelor, Jayda Klingerman has been very helpful since I have graduated, and even though I have not found a job, she continues to send job leads, and even a direct phone call on potential job leads. She has also helped me greatly by teaching me how to e-mail resumes, and other computer work I am not good at. I have always had a passion for animals, and Carrington has helped me realize a dream.

Veterinary Assistant Here I Come!

by Angela McHale - February 8th, 2012
I am a student in the veterinary assistant program, I have 9 days left until I start my externship. I have had the best instructors - Tina Lowery and Yvette Steffen, they have made sure that I have had the best education and hands on experience I could ever have asked for. Making a Better Way

by Danielle Gobin - February 5th, 2012
I am a single mom and have only been for a short while, so when my children and I moved here to Arizona in Feb. 2011 I knew things were going to be difficult. When I contacted Carrington in May after being unsuccessful in finding a job, I didn't realize that going back to school was actually a viable option for me. I then found out that Carrington was formerly Apollo and expressed to the career person how much I had wanted to attend there when I was a fresh High School grad in 2002. Unable to then because of living too far away, I was overjoyed when I was slated to start classes for Massage Therapy in June. Student services has helped me through desperate times of not being able to have enough food or hygiene products. Also I have always felt that they really care about our success and I am looking forward to becoming a Carrington graduate and embarking on my new career!

Its Finally My Time

by Melissa Smith - February 3rd, 2012
I was excited and motivated to finally be able to go to school. It has been a very long road to get to this point in my life. When the first day came I was nervous and scared. But after the first day, I knew I was where I am supposed to be. My teacher Ms. Susan Lane truely cares about her students. She works hard to help us through not only the school work but problems we encounter in our everyday lives. It is not easy to step out of your comfort zone and try something new... she makes that transition so much easier! I am getting the education I need to better my life and I the friendships I have made here will last a lifetime I am sure! I have to admit, I thought the "Carrington cares" was a little cheesey at first, however it could not be more true... Ms Susan and Ms Kathi are true assests to the Carrington team. They listen, guide, TEACH, and manage to make us all feel appreciated and welcome. Thank you Carrington for this experience, it has been one of the most meaningful experiences of my life!!!!!

How Carrington College Has Changed My Life Across States

by Heather Koch - February 2nd, 2012
I graduated from the Practical Nursing program at Carrington College, Portland campus in February 2010. After graduation and obtaining my license I accepted a rare opportunity at a job working in pediatrics for medically fragile children in Portland, Oregon. I also accepted a endearing position working for home visiting hospice care. Then I considered furthering my education and obtaining my associate degree in nursing. The RN bridge program in Boise, Idaho just requires 60 days of working experience as an LPN to apply for their program, but I worked full time in Portland as an LPN for a year before I decided to apply to the RN bridge program. Making the decision to move to Boise, ID for the Carrington College RN bridge program was the best decision I could have ever made in my life for my nursing career. The campus and nursing wing is amazing! The college staff supports my path to success and truly cares about my success. The instructors offer me tutoring to accommodate my schedule and the class sizes are smaller for a more hands on personal teaching environment. Career services has helped me obtain several job leads in the area that resulted in me getting hired in positions that will accommodate my school schedule. There is nothing more satisfying to me than getting my money's worth for my education in just 12 fast months at Carrington College, Boise campus. Carrington has prepared me for a world of opportunity in nursing!! There is no end to my personal success story with Carrington because my success as a student and success with my career just keeps growing and getting better all the time. I am scheduled to graduate in August 2012. Thank you Carrington College for giving me an education and a wonderful career in the nursing profession that I love. You have changed my life!!!

Foot in the Door

by Paul Pasewe - February 2nd, 2012
After high school I enrolled in a local community college (Mt. Hood CC). Two years later I completed my studies and was congradulated with a Associate of Science Transfer. I spend three months looking for job but my associate that I worked so hard to obtain wasn't enough to get me a job in the medical field. Sitting around Jobless, watching TV I saw the Carrington College advertisement, which caught my interest. I called them and set up an appointment, next day I went in and met with couple staff members who answered my questions and provided me with accurate and helpful information. Making the decision was easy. A month later I was sitting amoung peers. Nine months later I completed the study and got hired at my extern site. Thanks to Carrington my associate degree is now a thing of beauty on my resume.

You get what ya pay for as they say, Carrington is a pretty penny, but you will see from day one till the last day that everyone cares about your experience as long as you put in the time and show commitment. They walk you through everything and train you to be the best in the feild. Thanks carrington Billy.

My teacher played a huge role of that, the way she taught just helped me to retain the information so easily. And she made it a lot of fun! I had a great experience and met so many great people and awesome animals along the way. I would highly recommend this program to anyone. In 7 days I start my externship and will be well on my way to my own career as a Veterinary Assistant and I owe all my thanks to Carrington College.

I didn't know what I wanted to do in life besides be a wife and a mother. My sister was attending carrington college at the time for medical assistant and had told me and my other sister about the program. My sister then decided to make an appointment and speak to a recruiter to discuss her options. I decided to go to this appoinent and look into the program myself which I then decided to enroll with my sister and start this new journey of my life. I am thankful everyday that I took a step out of my comfort level and enrolled into the medical assisting program. I enjoyed the instructors and the students.

The staff

by Kimberly Harrell - January 31st, 2012
The Carrington campus in Tucson is amazing. We have a wonderful dean who is always there to talk to us if we need it and she is always giving us motivational support. Our new director is a really amazing guy as well. They both always make sure to come by the classes at least everyday and wave and say hi. They are always very interested in what we're learning and always make it known that they're there if we need them. I don't know much about how other colleges like Carrington work, but I love my campus and I'm happy to have such wonderful staff to support all of us students. My instructor, Mrs. A, is absolutely incredible. I can't believe the knowledge she has for this field of work and I feel so lucky to have someone liker her teach me the information needed. She is definately someone that I will always look up to and strive to be as good as her in the field.

From the streets to the hospital.

by Melissa Montgomery - January 31st, 2012
Before now I was just getting by in terrible jobs that didn't satisfy me or my need to help people. I didn't even think that with my background I would ever be able to work in this feild. Then I took a chance and met with someone at Carrington. They informed me that they have helped people with more strikes against them to find very productive careers and that mine would be no problem. I'm so glad I took that chance. I go to work everyday more excited than I ever thought possible. I love everything about what I do and if it weren't for Carrington College I wouldn't be were I am.

My Life at Carrington

by Janet White - January 31st, 2012
Carrington helped me finalize my decision to return to school. It was a late career change and it was the best decision I have made in a long time. Financial aid was available to me and the instructors are awesome. You do have to work hard and study harder. After all, you are paying for your education. Make the most of it. I am also a Work Study, so I go to school in the morning and work in the evenings. It does help with the financial crunch. I am lucky to have been accepted to Carrington. They really care about you and want you to succeed.

My Life Has Begun

by Rachelle Begay - January 31st, 2012
I was very blessed to get the opportunity to attend an awsome school. Carrington College changed my life in every way possible. I was in a deep hole with everything. No job, 3 year old kid, living at home with my parents and had no finacial set up what so ever. Then I got an opportunity to attend school at no cost to me. I am a member of the Navajo Tribe and they helped me pay for school. All I had to do was get good grades. I was a straight A student in the Physical Therapy program. I love to help people and wanted to do it in a way that I was comforatable. Physical therapy was the perfect fit. I went out to do my externship and did a great job. 2 months after I finished there they Hired me. So now its official. All i had to do was believe in myself and stick by those who love and support what ever you chose to do. I am very happy and plan to continue my education in this field.

The Attitude of the Staff on phone, on first physical encounter on campus were very personable and friendly (no hard sale). The Faculty personnel, from the Dean to each Program Director's and r staff were very helpful in each and every which ways.. The Attitude is the biggest impact of my decision making in attending Carrington College. Keep up the dedication to reach out and communicate in order to know your students feeling. It is all about the "Attitude" POSITIVE!!!!.. it means a lot..Thank you.

"My Dream Achieved"

by Sophia Martinez - January 31st, 2012
After almost 19 years of being an LPN, I finally achieved my dream of becoming an RN! Over the years I let obstacles get in my way of continuing my education. Carrington College in Boise, Idaho made it so easy to become an RN. I want to thank the Financial Aid Department at Carrington College for making the tuition process go so smoothly. This allowed me to concentrate on my studies, instead of worring about how I was going to pay for the fees. Thank you Boise staff for all your encouragement and help to make my dream come true! I plan on continuing my BSN studies thru an on-line college that is associated with Carrington. With Carrington as my educational partner I don't have to wait any longer to become a professional nurse! I'm so excited to make my next dream come true!

A New Beginning

by Jay Hamasaki - January 30th, 2012
I spend the first twenty years of my working career in marketing and analysis. I worked for some pristine companies in the San Diego and the Seattle areas, but the work was not personally fulfilling. I always had an interest in medicine and researched nursing schools in the Boise area. At the time, the school was named Apollo and it had a solid reputation around the valley. I graduated in August 2010 with my LPN. I was hired and was offered good money, even before I took the boards. The program enriched my life. I was able to make a positive impact on patients and the work was personally very rewarding. The college, now called Carrington, has many gifted, talented, and caring educators. I trust in their abilities and seek their guidance almost daily. I was so impressed with the education that I returned to Carrington and graduate in April with an RN degree. Carrington has prepared me for the responsibility that comes with the degree and I have a very rewarding career awaiting me.

Construction of million dollar homes to Carrington Radiology Program at age 30???

by Jeremy Troumbley - January 30th, 2012
I was working hard in construction and ended up beating my body up in the cold and heat. I was raising 3 kids with my Wife. When work ended abruptly in construction i had some time to think about where I wanted to be in the nest 30 years. So my wife and I decided I should check into school for something that i would be interested in. A doctor friend of mine Charlie put an idea into my head about Radiology, and I went to Carrington College to find out more. I called and immediately talked to Marissa and had an appointment to come in and check out the program. I was so pleased with the small class sizes, the one on one time with our instructors and all the other resources they offer. It has been the most encouraging and educational experience for me at the Spokane, Carrington College Campus for Me. The instructors are top notch and experienced. With knowledge of all modalities and procedures. You know the instructors care and want to see you learn and advance in the field they have worked in and love. Carrington College has helped me redesign my life for a new career, and my instructors have given me the knowledge to have the career. They care about there students and want us to have a career, to help people and ourselves with the knowledge we get here. I just want to say Thank You! to all my instructors and advisers who have helped me get this far and my family for all their support.

Making a Difference

by Rachel - January 30th, 2012
I can say with certainty that attending Carrington had changed me as a person. I'm a little over half way through my program, and I've never been happier. I wake up in the morning and look forward to going to class with people who have the same passion as I do. Carrington has taught me that I can make a difference in someone's life. It's also brought me friends that I'm sure will be lifelong. I wouldn't trade my Carrington experience for the world.

The dream of becoming a nurse!

by I.CH - January 30th, 2012
Carrington College helped me to achieve the dream of my life...to become a nurse!! It brought the right change at the right moment in my life and that of my family!!! Carrington College Portland opened up the doors for a brighter future to me and my family. I had a wonderful experience from the start. The college representative was very friendly, helpful, and providing answers to all of my questions. The teachers are very supportive, boosting the students to the best level of performance. I would definitely recommend this college to my friends and family or anyone who wants to achieve a dream.

New Beginnings

by Ronnette Gonsowski - January 30th, 2012
I have a rocky past and just when I figured there was no hope, I applied to Carrington. The staff is extremely encouraging and helpful. My experience here has been a GREAT one and gives me hope and confidence that my past will NOT shape my future. I thank everyone who helped me on my way.

Why I Like Carrington

by Natalie Fritts - January 30th, 2012
The classes were realistic in what was taught, as they related to the real world in skills learned. When I graduated from the Medical Billing and Coding course, I received help getting a job. The one I finally got at that time was through the career services sending my resume out to prospective employers. This job, as a medical administrative assistant, helped me discover what type of work I would be happiest doing, because I REALLY enjoyed that job. :) When I enrolled for the MOM program, the availability of online courses was very instrumental in my being able to do the course, because of its flexibility. The instructors were available through e-mail, and were very good at responding to my questions. The courses were easy to understand, and again related to the real world in what skills were taught, and the reasoning behind the instruction is sound. The format of the program used for online instruction is easy to follow. I had no trouble finding and using anything I needed. Career services is once again helping me, providing help with my resume, and keeping a look-out for any openings that might be a good fit for me. It's a tough market out there right now, and I appreciate any and all help I can get.

Change

by Kathleen mcWaters - January 30th, 2012
Carrington has given me the opportunity to learn in a way that better suits the way I learn compared to the University, while giving many of the same opportunities as a University.

Just a Number

by Megan Draskovic - January 30th, 2012
I attended a big university right out of high school thinking that was the best way to get my education. But what I found out shocked me. When I had family problems and my grades began to slip, I tried to contact my teachers for help and got the cold shoulder. I became extremely frustrated and decided to transfer to a different university. There, I found the same thing. So I decided to take a closer look at my options. I found Carrington College and I absolutely do NOT feel like a number anymore. The teachers are always willing to help you and are just as excited about your success as you are. I always look forward to going to school because I know that I'm going to an environment where I am wanted. I am not just a faceless check to them, I am a student with a life who wants to succeed!

Better Late than Never

by Gina Maxwell - January 30th, 2012
I am 43 years old and I am in the Dental assisting program. It has been such a rewarding experience for me. I have been in the food industry since I was 16 and I have done everything from waitress to General Manager. I am a single mom and my son is 8 years old and I wanted to give him more security then I can offer as it is now and realized no matter how good I am in that industry its just a job and not a career. Being in a customer service setting like food service means working weekends and Holidays which has taken time away from my son. I did a lot of research on the schools in this area and am so glad I choose Carrington to give me a new career path. I have three weeks left of classes and am so grateful to my instructors especially Ms. Yang who has helped make this transition so wonderful. It was not easy to go back to school after all these years and I feel I am ready for the next challenge in my life. thank you

I made it through college!!!!

Newfound confidence

by Amanda E Estabrooks - January 30th, 2012
Attending Carrington has changed how I see myself, my ability to succeed and set goals. When I started, I wasnt sure I could do it, I wasnt confident in my own abilities because traditional school had not worked for me in the past. During the year I attended, I made friends, regained my self confidence, and discovered what I was meant to do for a career. I felt supported and respected by my instructors and the staff, like I was more than just another face in a crowd. Overall, I had a very positive experience at Carrington College, and two friends I recommended to the school have also completed programs at this building, and the one in Las Vegas. I'm proud of my accomplishment and happy to be a Carrington graduate.

Late Career Changer

by David Morgan - January 30th, 2012
I was in a position that I needed to change my career in my mid 50's. I had previously researched the local colleges and selected Carrington college based upon accreditation and location. I couldn't have made a better choice. The staff and faculty assist in helping every student succeed in their goals. They encourage the teamwork and work ethic that applies in the work place. Toward the end of the program and after graduation, Career Services is very active in assisting students in finding employment. I found a Medical Assisting position that was available just after finishing the program and passed the CMA (AAMA) exam just prior to starting work. I am very happy with my Carrington College experience and the skills that were taught. Having now been in the work force with graduates from other colleges, I can state that Carrington College Medical Assisting program prepares students better than some other programs in the Portland area.

My life at Carrington College

by Stephanie Garrison - January 30th, 2012
Carrington College has helped me in so many ways. First, the college has helped me realize who I am and how I can make a difference not only in my life but also in the lives of my friends, family, and complete strangers. It literally brings happy tears to my eyes knowing how exceedingly well I'm doing in the Medical Billing and Coding program offered at my campus. Carrington College teaches you not only skills you need to know in your program, but also skills needed to survive in the world today. I want to thank Carrington College for being so close to my house and having simple things like the library being open all day every day during normal business hours. I have already been talking to several of my family and friends about coming to Carrington College. We'll see if they can make it!! :-)

Where it all began

It has been the best experience so far. I have faith that it will remain, and that I will receive the knowledge and confidence needed for my given nursing degree.

Carrington College, has helped me in many ways. I recieved my Medical Assistant certification through Carrington College, the instructors were excellent. They made me strive to be the best I could be. The instructors instilled in me, that I could do it and be good at what I was doing. I'am now enrolled in the Medical Office Management courses. I will recieve my Associates Degree in July. I have wanted my Associates Degree for a long time. The office staff and my Instructors backed me all the way. They knew I could do it even when I had doubts in myself. I would recommend this school to anyone.

Just trying to find my spot in the career field

by Kelsey - January 30th, 2012
Carrington college has been apart of my life for a few years. I completed the Vet assisting program, then 6 months later i decided to go back for medical assisting. Both programs are amazing. Going back for medical assisting really showed me how much Carrington really helps you to succeed. One thing i tell all the grads i meet. Use Career services, they are AMAZING! I think when i finished the vet assisting program i didn't take full advantage of them. Thank you Carrington College. :)

An unlikely finish

by Stephanie Downes - January 30th, 2012
My name is Stephanie Downes. I started at Carrington Colllege in August of 2009 when it was Apollo. I struggled through some classes and then in May of 2010 my husband became deathly ill. He was diagnosed with Cardiomyopathy...I stopped going to school because it was just to hard to concentrate. I re-registered with Carrington and started again in May of 2011. I graduated in January of this year and for some people thought this would never happen. Carrington helped me get a career in the Medical Assisting field.

My Sucess Story

by Rebecca Rusten (Becky) - January 30th, 2012
In August of 2010 I came to Carrington College having been laid of from my job. I knew that I needed to do something that would get me back in the work force. I chose Medical Assisting. My Grandmother and My Mom were both Nurses. I have always been excited about the Medical field. I have been a Caregiver for years and I decided that this would be the next step that I should take. I really enjoyed the program and met many new friends that also came to Carrington because they wanted a fresh start too. I was a little scared at first and not sure that I could do this. I had a positive family influence and a great support team. I gained more and more confidence each day and more and more excitement each class I completed. I was able to receive perfect attendance . I enjoyed learning my new skills and knowledge. I encourage everyone I meet to pursue their dreams and step out on faith and reach their goals. I did it. ! I am looking for a job and I am keeping in touch with instructors and Career services. They are encouraging me and telling me to keep up the good work and I will have a job before I know it or maybe when I least expect it. I hope so. !

Medical Billing and Coding Class

by Dottie - January 30th, 2012
Heather has always been there to keep us positive and on track, and gives more of herself than any teacher I have ever had. You can tell that she wants you to succeed. She brings her nursing experiences to the class which helps us to remember more about what we are learning, and she is full of energy and knows how to keep the class' attention. She makes us realize that there is a light at the end of the tunnel, and those rules, that some people call "silly," are there to prepare us for the job for which we are about to apply our newly learned skills. Not only do we learn to do the MBC work, but she also teaches students to work together, and learn from each other. Its an amazing class when Heather is there.

An answered prayer...

by Emily Vycital - January 30th, 2012
I actually found Carrington because my best friend was going there. I decided to check it out. After getting a tour of the school I was hooked. I started classes in April. The classes were very interactive which I like cause that's how I learn. I made so many great friends in class and after 8 months I was on my extern in a real doctor's office. They were so impressed that they hired me. I never thought that I could be working in a doctor's office but thanks to Carrington and their staff I now have my dream job. I would recommend Carrington to anyone who wants to better their life.

Going for the future

by Ashleigh Belflower - January 12th, 2012
I really enjoyed this school. Some teachers are more helpful then others which is normal. Biggest complaint is the fees and the scrubs. I wish the scrubs were nicer, softer and the nursing supplies we get was of a better quality. Other then that, love it.

Final semester of nursing school

by Heidi Ketron - January 12th, 2012
Today was our first theory/ lecture for the Medical/Surgical III class which is required for 6th semester nursing students to pass for graduation. I have never been so excited about learning. Professor G is the most amazing teacher; not only because of her approachable personality or extensive knowledge, but because of her teaching style. In this final semester, she has compiled our last 5 semesters of learning and presented this information in a systematic, logical sequence. She has tied the knot for me by solidifying my entire nursing education up to know. I can see the nursing process more clearly. I understand the reasons and rationale for why we do what we do as nurses. This class has given me more confidence throughout the nursing process, as I now have answers to my actions instead of going through the motions because it is evidenced based practice or simply because "that's just how things are done". Thank you Carrington College and especially thank you Professor Giglio-Siudzinski
