I have to say that my life had come to a crossroad and I knew that it was time for me to go back to school. I am a 38 year old mother of 3 and a wife of 15 years. My oldest is in his first year of high schooI and I know that he will be heading off to college soon so I need a career that will give me the financial stablity that I need. I have always wanted to work in the medical field but was not sure which way I wanted to go. I knew that I needed a path that would be quick but I also needed a job that would benefit both me and my family. So I decided to call Carrington and from the first day that I step foot on campus and talked with Roxanne I knew that I was where I needed to be. Everyone was very helpful and made every step so easy just getting into the classroom. On my first day of class I was so nervous but I was so ready for the challenge. Before I started my first day of school I set a goal that I would graduate with a 4.0 and I have done just that. I love my teachers Ms. Shannie and Ms. Sonia they have made this journey so easy and a truly fun experince. I have learned a lot and I feel that I now have the skills that I need to be sucessful. Along the way I have have meet all kind of people and I now have frienships that I know are ones that will last a lifetime. I am so proud of all that I have done and my family is just as proud of me. I have had alot of support along the way from my student advisor, career service advisor, financial advisor, and all the staff. For me have being a student mentor I hope that I have been able to help at least one person and give them the convidence they need to be just that more successful. I now have the convidence that I need to be successful in my life and Carrington had a lot to do with that. Can’t wait to start my career in Pharmacy Technology I know I will be great. Thank you so much Carrington.
