Well my first teacher was Mr. Sanchez. He really cared about success of his students and always encouraged me to have confidence and to not label my self. He was patient when I didnt understrand something. I was always the one who didnt understand. I learned so much from him and he was funny. I made presidents list my first term and got 4.0 GPA which I had never done before becasue of my learning disability. I learned that I can do anything I put myb mind to and I learned to get over my fear of failure. I learned how to do vitals, blood pressure heart rate temperature. I learned how to do EKG’s and injections and I learned to draw blood. It was so scary at first but Mr. Sanchez helped me get over it. I learned how to do tests lke UTI tests and pregnancy test. I learned baout how the body works, the heart, the lungs, the nervous system. Then Mrs. Plummer took over and she also did an excellent job. She really loves to teach and it shows. She called us “her babies” and it made me feel like she cared about us individually. She always came in with a smile. She watched us carefully to make sure we were being safe. She always braught it to our attention when we did something well. I loved coming to class every morning even though I am not a morning person. sam, the lady at the front desk was always so nice andgood at remembering names. Mrs. Weaver came in to help our class out and she was wonderful. She went out of her way to help us and you could tell she really loved to help and teach. I think Carrington is great at helping you achieve your goals and they really care about your success, the Dean too. I miss being a student there and I love and miss my teachers. I find that the carrington College staff really care about their students. I am so glad I didnt go to another college. Thank you carrington.
