Carrington College Spokane Holds Fall Graduation of 2010

Graduating class to pursue jobs in health care industry

Spokane, Wash. – (September 8, 2010) – Carrington College™ Spokane will hold a graduation ceremony on Thurs., Sept. 16 at 6 p.m. The celebration will take place at the Spokane Convention Center with more than 300 graduating students in attendance.

“This is an exciting time for our students,” said Peter Tenney, executive director of Carrington College Spokane. “We are proud of the hard work each student has completed and look forward to the impact and difference they will bring to our community.”

Saturday’s graduation will feature guest speaker Chuck Stocker, former superintendent of East Valley School District. Stocker now serves as director of vocational services at the Rotary Club of Spokane Valley-Sunrise and recently won the Greater Spokane Valley Chamber of Commerce Volunteer of the Year award.

Students graduating with perfect attendance and on the Dean’s or Director’s list will be given chords to wear with graduation attire. Programs with graduating students include dental assisting, health care administration, massage therapy, medical assisting, medical billing and coding, medical office management, medical radiography, pharmacy technology and veterinary assisting.
