Carrington College California Pomona Hosts “Paw it Forward” on Feb. 15

Carrington College® California Pomona will host Paw it Forward on Feb. 15 offering complimentary veterinary and spa services to pamper dogs and cats in honor of pet dental health awareness month in February. Services will include teeth brushing, ear cleaning, nail trimming, grooming and flea application. Veterinary technology program director, faculty, and students will be on-hand to share tips with owners on proper dental care including how to brush to combat plaque and tartar buildup.

“With Valentine’s Day and pet dental awareness month right around the corner, Carrington wants to make sure that pets are pampered and owners understand the importance of routine veterinary check-ups,” said Rebecca Appell, executive director of Carrington College California Pomona. “Most people have no idea that dental health is crucial to their pets’ overall health so we are educating owners on how to properly care for their animals for a long and prosperous life.”

The event is free and open to the public with local area animal shelters and pet supply stores being invited to attend Paw it Forward. All pets must be leashed or kenneled. For more information, visit or contact the campus at (909) 868-5800 to schedule your pet’s spa time.
