Paralegals have a very versatile role in the field of law, assisting in many of the functions performed by attorneys. Preparing for court cases, researching valid arguments, reviewing case facts, identifying the relevant laws, and ensuring that relevant information is considered in a case are among the responsibilities of paralegals. In addition, paralegals are skilled at collecting facts, conducting client interviews, preparing legal briefs and documents, and monitoring and reviewing regulatory and administrative laws.
Carrington College’s online courses within the Paralegal Studies Program, which culminate in an Associate of Science degree, blend liberal studies, business coursework, and legal studies.
