Hands-on Diagnostic Medical Sonography training
Sonography is increasingly being used in the detection and treatment of heart disease, heart attack, and vascular disease. As a successful graduate of the Carrington College Diagnostic Medical Sonography program, you will undertake practical training on the specialized equipment used to produce dynamic visual images of organs, tissues, and blood flow inside the body; these are the images that are then used by doctors to make medical diagnoses. Carrington College prepares students to take the necessary registration exams; upon graduation, individuals can specialize in a variety of areas, including obstetric & gynecologic, abdominal, neuro-sonography, or breast sonography.
