Carrington College - Financial Aid

An Investment You Can Count On

Financial AidCarrington College® has the resources to help students transform their lives through education. We can assist eligible students in seeking financial assistance for meeting their educational expenses.* The College participates in various federal and state student financial assistance programs, as well as private third-party financing.

No two students are alike, so no two students' financial needs are the same. That's why Carrington College applicants are encouraged to schedule an appointment with the Student Finance department prior to enrollment so that eligibility for financial assistance may be determined. Additional information is available in the academic catalog. This practice enables applicants to evaluate their options for tuition financing. "The Student Guide," published by the U. S. Department of Education, explains Federal financial aid programs in detail. It is the student's responsibility to complete and submit all forms and/or applications required for all federal, state, and institutional sources. Additional information on financial aid for eligible students is available from the financial aid office.

Explore Every Resource to Pay for your Education

Financial Aid consists of both grants, state funded programs and loans. Unlike loans, grants are gifts that do not have to be paid back. Carrington College participates in a variety of grant programs. These grants are based on need or on specific criteria related to a student's service or circumstance. To learn more about grants, including state-funded programs, please contact your student finance office.

For many students and parents, loans represent an important resource to help finance educational expenses. Whether federally or privately funded, loans can help fill the gap between need-based financial aid eligibility and total educational costs. In nearly every case, repayment of a loan begins after you earn your credentials or leave Carrington College.

Here are some of the financial assistance options that might be available to you.

Federal Student Aid Programs
You automatically apply for federal grant and student loan programs when you complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Please include the school code on your FAFSA Application. Click here for your FAFSA school code.

Federal Pell Grant Program
Awarded to students who don't already have a bachelor's degree based upon the number of hours enrolled and the Federal Pell Grant program regulations.

Veterans Benefits
Select programs at Carrington College are approved for veterans benefits. Applications for veterans benefits can be obtained from the Department of Veterans Affairs website or from the student finance office. Please keep a copy of all application materials submitted online for your records.
