New Name, Same Goal
Margaret M. Carlson founded Apollo College in 1976 in Phoenix, Arizona, in order to prepare graduates for careers in skilled professions. Since then, Apollo College has grown to campuses across the Western United States and offers online degree programs. In 2010, Apollo College changed its name to Carrington College® to better reflect the educational quality and commitment to student achievement.
Carrington College has been a leader in health care education for over three decades. We began with a simple goal: To change the lives of our students. Not just to teach them or to provide career services, but to help each and every one of our students grow as individuals while pursuing a profession that truly fits them. Carrington College has awarded over 36,000 certificates and degrees since 1992, and we are proud of our success. Furthermore, we’re proud that our goal remains the same. Our students put their trust in Carrington College. They come in search of a challenge, an opportunity and a better tomorrow.
