Fast Growing Occupations to be the Focus at Carrington College Mesquite Career Exploration Day
MESQUITE, Texas – (Jan. 4, 2012) – Carrington College® Mesquite will host career exploration day on Jan. 10 for prospective and current students, their family and friends, and the local business community to learn about fast growing occupations in health care fields. Prospective students will have the opportunity to interact with professionals in the field as well as current students and attend a program demonstration by the program director. Campus tours will highlight the hands-on classrooms and labs that are essential for training and externship opportunities. Representatives from the enrollment services and financial aid departments will be on-hand for questions regarding the application process, and the career service team will share insights on professional development and steps to prepare for a new career.
Career exploration day highlights health care occupations with increasing employment prospects such as dental assisting and medical assisting. Classes for these programs begin Feb. 27.
