2011 Carrington College California “Feed My Starving Children” Drive

The Carrington College California – Online Administration Team joined the DeVry Administration team on January 15 in Wood Dale, Illinois for an all day food drive with the “Feed My Starving Children” non-profit organization.  The “Feed My Starving Children” non-profit is dedicated to packing and shipping  meals for children suffering from malnutrition.  The meals are packed and shipped to over 70 impoverished nations around the world.  Here is a link to the organizations website.  http://www.fmsc.org/

This year Carrington College California – Online and DeVry Inc. organized two meal drives, for employees at both its Chicago area offices, Wood Dale and Downers Grove.  The Carrington College California team helped lead the Wood Dale meal drive.  Employees took time out of their days and worked in shifts to pack meals that would be shipped all over the world to starving children.  Each location broke up into teams to compete against each other, this “friendly” competition helped them reach their goal.  The goal of this drive was to pack 100,000 meals, the Carrington College California and DeVry Inc. team ended up easily exceeding the goal and packed a 110,376 meals!  You can go to the photos tab on the Carrington College Facebook page to see the Carrington College California – Online team in action at the Feed My Starving Children event.  http://www.facebook.com/CarringtonCollege

This is a great undertaking. Poverty is currently recognized as one of the top problems of the world and is being addressed by the United Nations. Is this in any way related to the Vitameals being distributed by NuSkin / Pharmanex? I would like to be updated, so please send me any new info via my email. Likewise, I have already saved this blog area to my bookmarks. Thanks and more power to Carrington College!

I love hearing about humanitarian efforts that actually influence both the recipient and the provider.

Kudo to the Carrington College California team for helping out with the Wood Dale meal drive. Much appreciated.

  4. All I’m able to say is it is, truly great. I would not change some thing.
